I scream and run away from the kitchen before Chris could finish his statement. I hear his laughter from the living room, it was beautiful. He comes into the living room, laughing and pointing at me. “Jerk!” I mutter. “You have to admit it though, it was quite funny,” Henry says.
“Wow, I thought you were going to be on my side,” I whine. “I am, babe". My heart does a little flip when Henry called me babe. Even though that was not the first time, it felt like the first time. I smile but I try to hide it.
“What are we doing today guys?” Chris says. “Uhm, I mean, it’s just the three of us so, I don’t know" Henry replies. “What do you mean you don’t know,” Chris says. I watch them go back and forth, pulling the chips closer and holding the duvet on
