Luce stay here at the house I need you to be safe, she protested a little but I couldn't risk losing my luna after only just finding her. I pulled her in for a quick kiss that was sweet and I could've just sunk into it and forgot the world but I was alpha now and protecting my pack and my Luna was paramount. I shifted quickly into my wolf form, it didn't hurt at all and I'm pretty sure it was the fastest shift I've ever done, my wolf also felt larger than before, maybe it was an alpha thing. I raced off out of the gardens past scared pack members and into the woods past the lake, I followed the scent of my warriors dodging through trees with a new ease but as I drew closer I could hear howls and smell the horrid metallic scent of blood.
