Jade tour

I woke up early in the morning,panting from my nightmare I am so Disoriented with balls of sweat forming on my forehead ,I started scanning the bedside drawer for my pain killers knocking down everything in my way but to no avail, I am in a new environment now and the last thing I expected from all the mixed feelings I experienced yesterday is to start having nightmares, this is even more scary to me since its nt the direct science from the accident neither is it clips from It.

I dreamt about how wonderful it felt having both my parents alive to see me growing into a young woman,aurora and her family including Desmond my demon brother,we were so happy together before I saw them snatched away from in the most cruel way,every single one of them.it really scared me I have lost both parents already I can't loose another it is one of my innermost fears I can't bear to lose any one close to me again because I doubt if I will be able to ever recover from it

The valet comes banging the room door,asking what is wrong and if he can help with anything.........I ignored him still scanning for my pills,I turned the contents of my first box over trying to locate where my mom kept the pain killers since she was the one that packed the box but the way he kept on banging on my door is not just annoying but frustrating coupled with the throbbing pain in my head.

I angrily unlocked the door and return back to scanning for the drug while gripping the side of my head with my hand and scanning my clothes with the other,I move over to my biggest box that houses my major clothes to scan through the content when the valet held my hand and stopped me

okay.....that's so unprofessional, he has no right to touch me whatsoever but I couldn't retaliate I was already feeling dizzy due to the throbbing pain and if. care is not taken I can pass out and the consequence is my moms wrath.....no I can't afford that I just got here, I don't want to go back to black wood so soon

"what are you looking for??"he asked in his rich velvet voice

"my pain killers.....its in an ash bag with a red cross...an emergency first aid kit"I replied grabbing the box handle for support

he nods and helps me to the bed to sit down before you g over to my luggage storage area.....in less than five minutes he returned with the kit....I don't know how he got it BT am glad he is able to locate it,I finally used the drug and stsrt to calm myself

He has this really confused look on his face, which is quite disturbing because I don't like explaining myself and if I will, it definitely won't be to a stranger.

"are you okay??"he asked concerned

"yes am good"I replied my words sounding fake even to me

"you don't look okay...should I get you to the hospital???"he pressed further

"I owe you enough already, I don't like being indebted to people more so I just told you am fine"I answered irritated

I really don't appreciate people sticking their nose into my business, am in a sour mood already and I don't appreciate him asking me things I don't want to answer.The valet opens his mouth to say something but decides against it and starts to stare at me I guess trying to study me, which is so uncomfortable.

one thing I know for sure is that the earlier I dismiss this valet, the better it is for us both, since he wants to help out he can actually order an uber driver for me

"can you help me place an order for an uber driver???you don't have to if you don't want to, you have done a lot already"I asked nervously under his scrutinizing gaze

"if you don't mind...I can be your uber driver"he Answered concerned

"thanks but never mind.....order me an uber driver and if you don't want to its fine"I replied

"can I have your phone number?"he asked politely

that wasn't something I was expecting him to ask and my mobile number?? what does he even need DAT for

"excuse me??"I asked with a raised eyebrow

"you just asked me to order you an uber driver, I need to get ur details across"he replied giving me a don't be a dumb ass look

I scan my side bag for a business card.....I did this programme on styling and I like to be independent so my business car bears my personal hobby and not my family's business name I hand the card that is the size of an ATM card to him and he inspects it with a satisfied look on his face

"the order is done,I have sent the details to you on Wechat....you can check it out, I guess I should get going now if there is nothing else"he replied standing up to exit the room

"Ryker!!"I call out to him

wow!! Aurora !! you guyz are on first name basis now??I mentally scold myself but there is no need crying over a spilt milk he stopped in his tracks already waiting for me to say something

"I owe you one favour......you can find me anytime you need me"I answer after hesitating for a while

"do you really have to draw the line??"he asked

"oh yes I do......I don't like owing people"I answered defensively

He pauses for a while,I guess considering something's with the way he concentrated and his eyes darting back and forth before he now finally smiles mischievously and exits the room without saying anything

wow!! did this guy just leave me hanging without saying anything??mad!! "what do you expect him to say??"the stupid voice in my mind screamed....well am not a big fan of this voice because its main function is to oppose me.....I expected him to say something or anything he didnt even say good bye!! I am so angry right now that if I don't sleep this off I may explode which is going to be a really bad idea since I have orientation to attend soon

I forgot to set my alarm when I retired to bed, I kept on tossing and turning till my eyelids dropped only to wake up 2 hours later,I have less than an hour to get dressed and locate my orientation venue I don't like rushing my dressing up because what to wear is one of the really important decisions I need to make and I don't even have the luxury of time to do that otherwise if I miss this orientation,I am officially screwed especially when I decided not to really make friends in jade

I get my morning routine done quickly,and had by bath I don't bother washing my hair since I did it yesterday then I have so much to do in such little time frame.I scan my box to get something to wear and am blown away by what I saw, my mom got me a new clothe for me and on the exterior of the package is a sticky note that says for your orientation baby.

i quickly unbox the package to reveal a lilac hoodie with butterflies with different shades of purple color arranged vertically from the beginning of the sleeve to the end of both sleeves shortly before the sleeve band, it is paired with a white ripped jeans and a sleeveless lilac top with the inscription "free as a butterfly"

"awwwwnnnn my mom is so full of surprises.....I love you mommy"I say staring at the package with dreamy eyes

I quickly got dressed and pilled my hair in a messy bun, I don't really have time to slay the hair this morning....also I will be leaving the dangling earrings out while I settle for a pin diamond earring

its not all the time I will be drawing attention to myself due to my exotic fashion sense.....sometimes staying low key may not be so bad and more so I know I have this effect on boys because am a full package but still I don't feel like intimidating anyone today"I say with a mischievous laugh

I decide to go for a nude lipstick today but I still can't leave my bold eyeliner out....I mean it looks sooooooooo good on me......I touch up my face with light make up,get my lilac sneakers on and take one last look at my self in the mirror

I am really satisfied with my dressing,am not so dressed to intimidate but am still killing it" I smile in satisfaction I woke up with high spirit

Thing is I didnt have nightmare but I dreamt I kissed the hot valet.....like WTF!!!!.....I wave it that its just a dream but a part of me wonders what it will actually feel to kiss me

"you have not even had you first kiss yet and you are thinking of how kissing the hot guys will be like.....I guess you are just looking for an easy way to make yourself look sooo stupid"the stupid voice in my mind spoke up and as usual its against me

"What a b***h"I mutter and push my wandering thoughts away and gathering my daily necessities into a white cross body bag

I scan the room to be sure I didnt forget anything before I lock the room and make my way out of the hotel to begin my jade tour.

when I got down the stairs it dawned on me how I don't know anywhere in jade and there is no way I can navigate my way through so I rush to back to the room to get the map I recalled seeing while I was touring my room yesterday.

After I picked up the map, I scan through to see how to get to the auditorium from the hotel and I start walking when my phone beeped, its the uber driver calling he wants to know my present location so he can pick me up. I inform him that am at the jade yard and he assured to pick me up soon

The jade yard has most of its buildings in red bricks which gives it a retro style.I guess this is where most tourists come because the place is really lively, it is also really beautiful and elegant to look at.The dead center of jades yard has different iconic buildings to explore from that I make a mental note to do later I grab myself a lemonade from the lemonade stand to relax with while I wait for my uber driver.

I didnt take long before a white fission ford pulls over at the packing lot, I had a feeling its the driver am waiting for but who uses a new fission ford as an uber drive??? I room my eyes at my stupidity and continue to sip my lemonade.....few minutes later I receive a call from the uber driver and he confirms he is standing next to a white small car in the parking lot

wtf!! small car??? you can actually call it a small car for some one ignorant and knows nothing about cars but definitely not me because I love cars

I go close to the fission ford and dial the uber drivers number which he picks and I confirm he is the one am waiting for before I get into the car...the car is really cozy and has a really nice black leather interior

wow!! this valet has a really exotic taste for him to order something like this for me.....thank your starts I can afford such luxuries otherwise you are on your own I smirked referring to the valet who is not even present.

The driver drops me off at the auditorium , I ask for his we chat to make the payment but he informs me that the payment has been made prior to this time.....I guess that's the hotels uber driver and class and elegance are jades signature so they must have charged the bills to my moms account.

I make my way to the auditorium.....from the looks of it, they have not gone far they were still displaying most of jades iconic buildings on the centralized projectors placed at strategic points hanging down from the ceiling when I made myself comfortable on my seat.
