Assassin’s Betrayal

Chapter 9

Luna POV

As I sit here waiting for him to start talking, I start to get nervous. I really want to just get this over with.

“Hades, what is it…you are making nervous and I don’t like this feeling at all.” I say.

“Luna, I wanted to let you know that my parents are coming, and they will be here tomorrow.” He continues. “They originally went on vacation, and while on vacation they was visiting an other pack and decided to arrange a marriage between me and someone from the pack.”

Once he said that I instantly started to see red. How dare they, I just hope from that for this person’s sake that they stay where the f**k they are coming from. I just can’t believe this s**t. First it was Kimmy now this s**t. I really need to kill something at this point and right now I want to kill this b***h that his parents is bringing.

“Hades…what the f**k? Did you tell them about me before this or what?” I yelled out at him as I stood up from the couch and started pacing. I can’t believe this s**t I need to kill something or someone.

“Luna, say something please.” Hades says to me.

“What do you want me to say huh…Hades…I really just want to kill something right now.” I said. Without even realizing it I was crying. I really don’t like this s**t. I am one of the baddest bitches in the world. I don’t fight or cry over no man. You know what f**k this s**t, it’s time for me to stop being Luna and start being Viper again.

I stopped pacing closed my eyes and took a deep breath and let the assassin in me take over. From here on out I will no longer be Luna in front of others. I will forever be Viper from here on out.

I hear Hades start to walk over to me and I felt his presence behind me. Part of me wanted to just melt into his arms, but another part of me wanted to beat his goddamn ass. Hades placed his hand on my shoulder to turn me around to face him. Once he did that I clinched my fist and swung and hit him with a right hook.

“Don’t f*****g touch me…I don’t know what you have done to me but I was never one to show my emotions but that s**t ends today.” I say to him, I knew that my facial expression was blank. I got up in his face and growled at him.

“Who ever this b***h is that your parents are bring you better get ready to send her head back to her pack because if she step one foot in this house Hades, I will kill her, beat your parents and your ass.” I growled at him.

Hades starts to growl back with his facial expression now turned blank.

“Are you threatening me and my parents Luna?” He growls at me. He goes to place his hand around my neck, and he growls louder to get me to submit.

Bitch I am Viper I do not submit to no man, and I will not start today. As his growls gets louder so does mine.

“Its not a f*****g threat it’s a promise Hades…and stop trying to make me submit I have never submitted to no man and I wont start today unless we are f*****g…I am your mate and there for your equal, but you have no idea the hell that your parents has brought into our home.” I growled at him as I flipped him onto his back.

I ran out the front door jumping off the porch shifting into Gemini. The aura dripping from me can be felt from miles away. I need to kill something, so Gemini and I decided to go hunting. I am hoping I run across some rogues on this run.

Hades POV

As I laid here on my back after being flipped by Luna, I couldn’t help but be proud of her. She is the mate I have always wanted in my life. Someone that took s**t from anyone including me. I need to fix this, but how. She has always showed me her emotions but now I can’t even get a read off her. I was only being honest with her, I don’t know if I should go after her or just give her time to cool off. As I picked myself up off the floor, I kept thinking of ways I could fix this and just pray that my parents aren’t bringing some unknown she-wolf here.

I sat here thinking and praying to the goddess that everything works out fine and that Luna does not shut me out completely. I hear someone come into my office and quite frankly I do not have the patience to deal with anything that has to do with rogues or anyone else. My main concern is Luna right now.

“Hades…is everything ok I just saw Luna running to the forest.” Apollo my beta and close friend asked me.

“I don’t know Apollo, I don’t feel her emotions or anything anymore she has completely shut me out.” I continued “I don’t know what to do, I told her about my parents and how they just recently told me they found me a chosen mate and she f*****g closed me out.” I sighed and put my head in my hands. I feel like I can’t breathe without her here.

“Hades, just let her calm down and think about it from her point of view. How would you have felt if she told you her parents had found her a chosen mate.” Apollo stated to me as he walked out of the office.

The moment those words left his mouth I became furious about the thought of her parents making her be with someone that wasn’t me. At that moment I knew exactly how Luna felt and from that thought alone I wanted to go back to the old me and close off my emotions.

I have to say if the shoe was on the other foot I would do exactly what Luna has done, except I would never put my hands on her. I have to find her and just let her take her anger out on me and no one in the pack. If she did kill this she-wolf I would not stop her.

I got up from my desk and walked out the house towards the forest. I shifted into Leo and started following Luna’s scent. The stronger her scent got the more I start to smell the scent of blood. My chest starts to feel tight as I pray that she is not hurt. But along the way I have many dead rogues on the path that I am taking to Luna.

After running for what felt like hours I finally come to a clearing where I see Luna. I couldn’t help but to release the breathe I have been holding.

I just sat back and watched her because I did not want to distract her due to the fact that she is currently in the middle of a fight against a rogue. Once the fight was over I start to walk over to her. As I am walking to her I mind link her.

“Luna, sweetheart I am sorry…I con honestly say that if I was in your shoes I would feel the same way you do.” I say to her.

She turns to me and her white fur is covered in blood. Her eyes are holding so much pain. She shifts back into her human form and her face is voided of any and all emotions.

“What do you want Hades…I just came out to hunt.” She says as she tilts her head slightly to the left.

“I just want to talk and listen to you…if you want to fight me then baby I will take all the hits you throw, but please don’t shut me out.” I say to her.

I see her face twitch a bit, but she shakes her head and her face goes blank again. I don’t want this.

“Baby, think about it how would you feel if I shut you out, it pains me to see you like this.” I say to her.

Luna starts to walk towards me, and I brace myself for what will happen next. She raises her hand and slaps me. I will not move, I will let her take her anger out on me just so I can feel her emotions again. I let her continue with her slaps, and I watch as her face softens and tears star to form in her eyes. With the last slap, Luna is clinging to me crying and finally letting me feel her emotions.

I have to be honest, but right now my face hurts like a b***h. My mate may be small, but she can f*****g hit. I wrap my arms around her and just held her.

“Your mine…why are they doing this…they can’t give to someone else.” Luna cried out.

“I will kill them I will kill them all.” She screams out at me.

I just held her and listened.

“I’m yours, little fox…no one is taking me from you…I will not stop you from killing anyone that tries.” I say to her as I rubbed her back and kiss her on the top of her head.

As I am standing here comforting her I get a mind link from Thor. I just pray it’s not what I am thinking, and I just got back on her good side and I want to stay there.

“Alpha…your parents just crossed into the territory…they have an unknown she-wolf with them.” Thor tells me.

“f**k my life…I told my dad not to bring her…I have a feeling that this is my mom’s doing.” I tell Thor through the link.

“Well, Luna and I are on our way back find out what pack she is from so I can prepare a apology letter and other things for what’s about to happen.” I continue “Oh and start making funeral arrangements because Luna might kill me and my parents.”

I hear Thor laugh about the last part, but I was so serious. Now I have to sign my death sentence by tell my mate that my parent went against my wishes and brought the she-wolf here after I specifically told them not to and that I found my mate.

“Umm…Little Fox…don’t be mad at me please.” I continue “Now I told them I found my mate and also not to come here with the she-wolf.”

“Okay…and…you told them you found me Hades they wouldn’t do that right.” Luna asks me.

“My dad wouldn’t but my mom is a different story, and babe they are here with the she wolf.” I tell her.

At that moment I knew they f****d up and is now on my mate’s s**t list. Her face goes blank of emotions. She grabs my hand and starts to walk towards the pack house.

“Don’t let them in the house until we get there.” I commanded my pack member through the link.

The pack house come into view and once we have stepped out into the forest I see my parents. I look around and I see the she-wolf standing next to them. I can feel my blood boiling with rage. I know for a fact that I told them not to bring that she wolf here and that I found my mate and they do this to me. I feel like they are trying to ruin the relationship and the bond that Luna and I have built.

“What the f**k is this…mom…dad?” I ask my parents.

They turn to look at me and the only one that does not look shocked about my response is my dad.

“Hades, sweetheart…your dad told be about the little lie you told saying that you found your mate.” My mom says to me.

“It wasn’t a lie mom…don’t act like you don’t see her and the fact that I am marked now.” I all but yell at my mom.

“Well ok I can see that now…but Hades Krystal is a better match for you, she is a strong fighter.” My mom continues “You can just reject her and mate with Krystal…you need a strong she wolf by your side.”

I am outraged at my mom disrespecting Luna like she isn’t here. I go to look at Luna, but I see her approaching my mom from behind with her kunai in her hand. I smirk at my mom.

“So you think my mate is weak…you have no idea how wrong you are.” I say with a smile on my face.

“You say this she wolf is strong…well mom…allow me to introduce you to my mate…Luna.” I smirked.

I watched as Luna grabs my mom and placed the Kunai to her neck. I know she won’t kill her, Luna just needed to prove to my mom that she was not weak.

“Hello, Hades mom.” Luna says to my mom.

I laughed as my dad and this she wolf jump with a shocked expression on their face.

“How…when…I should have heard you come up behind us.” The she wolf says to Luna.

“You, maybe stealthy but I still beat you in the strength department…so how about I challenge you for the female alpha position and the right to mate with this sexy man over here.” Krystal says with a smirk.

“Oooo…great job mom you brought back a dumb one.” I say to my mom.

Before I knew it Luna has walked up to Krystal and did a palm strike to her nose. I smiled knowing that my mate was about to prove that her place is by my side and that she will not take s**t from anyone, not me or my parents.

“Well, son I first have to say that I am sorry and that I tried to stop your mom.” My dad says to me.

I just nodded my head because I know that he tried to stop my mom. I just stood here and watched as my mate proceeded to beat the s**t out of Krystal. I start laughing at my mom as she runs to me crying.

“Hades make her stop…this is proof that she is not fit…she is crazy.” My mom cries to me.

“Mom, please you just mad that you did not sense her behind you and that she is kicking Krystal’s ass.” I laughed at her.

I went back to watch my fight cheering my mate on. I know that she is going to kill this girl but honestly I don’t care, but then I notice that Luna had stopped and has ordered a warrior to take Krystal to the dungeons.

“Little Fox, what is going on?” I asked her.

“I know her…I never knew she was a wolf until today.” Luna continues “She was contacted by the organization to come kill me. Her sobriquet is Jade.”

“Another toy for you to play with, my love?” I asked her.

She looked at and smirked. I love when she has that look on her face.

“Yes, my king and this time I would love for you to join…I don’t know much about tormenting wolves, but I wanna share my toy with you.” Luna says to me with a smile.

Luna turns and looks to her right at my parents, she sighed and walked over to them.

“Hello, my name is Luna, and I am Hades mate. I know that you two are his parents, but I want to let you know that I do not like anyone coming to take what’s mine, and I will kill anyone that tries.” Luna says to my parents.

My mom is scared hiding behind my dad.

“Hi, my name is Kenneth and this is my wife and mate Saleen. I can see now that you are the perfect match for my son.” My dad says to her.

To be honest I am glad that everything is going good so far. I walk over to Luna and wrap my arms around her and kiss her mark. She let out a small moan. I grab her hand and I start walking towards the stairs to our room.

Once we got into the room I pinned Luna against the wall and kissed her as hard as I could. I moved down to her mark and start kissing and sucking on it. I move my hands down to her thighs so I could lift her up. As soon as I lifted her up she wrapped her legs around my waist. I moved towards the bed not stopping for air as m lips roam her body.

I throw her onto the bed and fall after her. I removed her shirt and gently squeezed her breast. Once I unhooked her bra she let it fall and her breast are now on full display for me. I take one of her mounds into my mouth, as my hands worked on removing her pants and underwear. Once I got her completely naked I stepped away to remove my clothes. I walked down into the living room and I see my parents along with Seth and Belle.

“Well, Hades…how you feeling now…I mean I think we all heard how you felt.” Seth laughs out to me.

I just laughed and shook my head at him. I go to sit in the chair that is across from my parents.

“We need to talk…I am the Alpha now and I will not allow anyone not even you mom to disrespect my mate.” I say to her.

“What the f**k do you mean disrespect…I don’t care who parents you are if you hurt my best friend and sister, it won’t be Hades you have to worry about.” Belle says to my parents.

“Your female gamma has no respect either you are going to ruin this pack.” My mom says to me. It hurst that my mom thinks so little of my abilities.

“b***h…you have to earn my respect…I am the heir of the most powerful family in the states…I could have you killed in an hour if I wanted.” Belle growls out at my mom.

“Belle…calm down…let Alpha handle his parent.” Seth says to Belle. Belle huffs and sits back down and crosses her arms and legs. She isn’t aware but she is letting her aura leak out and she doesn’t seem to care at all.

“Belle I will handle it…you know I love Luna and won’t let anything happen to her.” I tell Belle.

“What the f**k ever.” Belle growls out at me.

I growled back at her “Belle you will respect me I am your Alpha.”

Belle looks at me wide eyed then smiled and then finally she laughed. I can see why her and Luna are best friends. They have remarkably similar traits. Belle looks at me nodded her head and remained quiet.

“Now mother as I was saying you will not be disrespecting me or my mate, if you can’t get alone with her and try to drive a wedge between us I will send you away on another vacation.” I say to her. I turn to look at my dad as I was disappointed in him as well.

“Father, I remember telling you to tell mother not to bring that she-wolf to my home because I did find my mate, and from the way that she was acting I do see that you told her but you should have stopped her.” I continue “That little stunt you two pulled would have caused me to lose my mate and I will not be having that. Now when she wake up from her nap, you two will be apologizing to her.”

“I am a female Alpha I do not bow or apologize for anything.” My mom screams at me.

“You are the former female alpha you do not run this pack anymore.” I growled at mother.

I honestly have the right mind to disown her because at this point I do not see her respecting my or Luna. I look at my dad and shook my head. I get up and begin to walk towards my office. I turn back around to look at my dad.

“Father I suggest that you have a talk with mother, because if she continues this disrespect I can not have her here. I love you both, but the way she is acting towards my mate is unacceptable.” I say to him and start back walking towards my office to finish up any pack work that I have to get done for today.
