Mira woke up to an empty bedroom, with the lights dim.
“Thane?” she whispered,calling out for Thane.
When she didn't get a response, she got out of bed and headed downstairs to find him. The nice aroma caught her nose and she made her way to the kitchen and found a freshly cooked food placed neatly on the kitchen table. Her stomach growled in anticipation.
She lifted the cover to reveal a delicious-looking meal right in front of her. She didn't pay much attention or try to think of who made it. She just picked it up.
Mira strolled over to Eli's room, the plate of food in her hand, taking bites by bites while walking. As she turned the corner, she bumped into Thane, who was standing outside Eli's door, looking calm.
Thane's eyes widened in surprise, and for a moment, he seemed taken
