The rays of the morning sun cast a comforting morning glow as Thane and Mira went over to Eli. The previous night's event had left them exhausted, but the thought of bringing Eli home filled them with Joy.
In the ward, Eli sat up in bed, his eyes lighting up as he saw his parents
"Mommy! Daddy!" Eli beamed
Mira rushed to his side, embracing him in a warm hug.
"Oh, my sweet boy, we've missed you so much." Mira beamed.
Thane joined them, placing a protective hand on Eli's shoulder.
"You're safe now, son," Thane assured
The doctor entered.
"Eli has recovered well from the sedative. There are no signs of trauma or lasting effects. He may be a bit drowsy for the next few hours, but that's normal. Just ensure he rests and stays hydrated," the doctor informed.
