Thane held the door with his hands before she could shut it. “What else?” she asked, wide eyed. “Can I at least come in?” he requested “Why? Because you own the place?” she sarcastically spoke. Thane felt stunned for words. She was getting him in every way possible. “I mean...not that. The house was given to you by the company so you can have a place to stay till the contract expires.
