Cora's POV
I looked at Bruno's unconscious form, then I looked back at everyone who was asking for answers. I didn't know what to say because I was still confused at the turn of events.
Nothing was supposed to turn out like that. Bruno was not supposed to be fighting for his life, nor was my demon supposed to come back from the pit of hell.
But hey, here we are now with everything going wrong, and I didn't know how to fix any of it. And honestly, I don't think any of us, not even the most feared Shadow, knew how to fix this either.
'' Cora, look at me, I need to know what happened, so I can know how to fix it.'' Zane said as he moved closer to me.
I looked at him, trying to force the words out of my mouth, but no matter how I tried, they didn't want to come out.
