I was still paralyzed with fear, as I looked at Bruno's unconscious form beneath me. I have never felt this kind of fear before, as tears rolled down my eyes.
'' Now it is your turn, but with you, it will be so much different. You would pray for death but you wouldn't find it,'' I heard his distasteful voice say to me.
I didn't know what to do. All my life I thought I was brave, strong, reliable. I handled everything head on, but none of that prepared me for this very moment, because now I didn't know how to feel when hope, bravery and strength had now become a stranger to me.
