Chapter 9: And the Not so Rich

Maclain's POV

After singing my ass off the press was on my ass. Calvin or Mr. Lawrence who gives a f**k saved my ass and I'm in his porche.

"You know, you never told me why you were there."he said as I was deciding whether I shoukd take the lipstick off.

"So?" I said and he came to a stop making me lean forward, thank god I had my seatbelt.

"You know your love is kind and all but stalking someone is a bit too much."he said smirking.

"Ha your funny." I said taking off my seatbelt then opening the door.

"What are you doing?"he asked and I slammed the door closed. He rolled the window down. "Maclain?"he said as I was walking past the cars.

He honked his horn making me stop and turm around. "What?!" I yelled.

"Get back in the car!"he yelled.

"Why? I don't take to fond of criminals." I said scruntching up my nose.

"It's dangerous to walk late!"he yelled.

Did he even hear me? I just kept on walking. These heels f*****g hurt. I almost slipped and fell.

"Fuck." I said. The heel broke.

"Maclain!"he yelled. I ignored him and took the heels off and walked bare foot. "Maclain!"he yelled and I was stopped by my arm being grabbed.

"Come back in the car."he said.

I sighed and pulled my arm and turned around. "Why do you f*****g care anyway?!" I yelled.

He smirked. "You really don't like to make things easy on people do you?"he said and I almost slapped that smirk off his face.

To be honest I didn't trust him or the guy that wanted me to spy on him. "You've killed someone." I said.

"What?"he said and I gulped.

"You've killed someone before." I said and he leaned in closer.

"And what if I have?"he said and pulled away smirking.

He thought this was funny. f**k him. He's rich and a criminal. I thought people were criminals because they were broke.

"I don't want to have nothing to do with you." I said and he shrugged.

"Then don't."he said and started walking back to his car.

"Such an ass." I mumbled as I started to walk home.
