(Brandy) I woke up earlier than normal to go for a run. I just wanted to be alone. Midnight and I went north, where there were some nice pastures to run through. Here I feel truly at ease. I look around and listen to the birds chirping; the sunshine barely making its peak over the mountains, and the shadows from the night fade away. Hey, we haven’t run into any guards on patrol. Midnight reminds me, which makes me stop walking. That is very strange. We have been out here for at least two hours, surely they would have smelled us by now.
