I woke up in the middle of the night gasping for air. An intense pain was shooting through my body. The pain was so bad that it woke me from a dead sleep. It still won't stop.
The pain started in my chest. Like I was having a heart attack or something. I struggled to breathe, let alone get up from my bed.
I patted the bed next to me thinking that Alessio was still there. That was when I realized that he was gone. Where did he go?
Suddenly, the pain was gone. Completely gone. Like it had never even been there to begin with.
All to be replaced by an all-new pain. This time it was in my head. It feels like someone is trying to drill a hole between my eyeballs. My vision blurred as I stood up. I stumbled into the wall.
