SOLD TO THE DEVIL "Okay, I'll teach you," the physician said with a warm smile. Narmada's face lit up with excitement as the physician began to guide her through the steps. Meanwhile, Lucifer and Cheng arrived at the mysterious location. They dismounted their horses, and Cheng pointed to the place. "Here is the place," he said. As they entered, they saw a woman performing an incantation. She sensed their presence and turned to face them. "Young men, how can I help you?" she asked, her voice laced with curiosity. Lucifer's smirk hinted at his skepticism. "Have you been able to help yourself?" he asked, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "What did Adelaide do to you that you want her life?" Lucifer demanded, his eyes narrowing. The woman's eyes widened, and she swallowed hard, her mind racing. "Are you going to answer my damn question?" Lucifer yelled, his patience wearing thin. The woman stood her ground, despite the intimidation. "Who are you to ask me such questions?" she retorted. "I am Lucifer, a great demon," he declared, his power radiating from him. "Now, answer my question. Why did you want her life?" The woman hesitated, and Lucifer's anger grew. He dragged her forward, holding her collar as he used his power to press her neck. "We want answers," he growled. The woman cried out in pain, "I don't want her to get her power! I want that position for my daughter!" Lucifer's grip tightened. "Which power?" he demanded. The woman's voice trembled. "She's a goddess." Lucifer's eyes flashed with anger. "That's why you want her life? You don't have any better reason?" He caged her with his power, rendering her immobile. "Let me see how you'll show yourself in her dream again," he sneered, before walking out. Cheng smirked, creating a spiritual chain to bind the woman. "People like you are no better than enemies of progress," he said, his voice dripping with disdain. As he walked out, the woman struggled to use her power, but it was futile. "I'll deal with you, you bastard!" she screamed, her anger and frustration boiling over. In a different scene, Winter walked into Lucifer's room with a smile, only to find Adelaide waking up on the bed. Winter's expression turned icy. "Hey, what are you doing here? And why are you lying on the boss's bed?" she snapped. Adelaide stuttered, "I...I came...he..." Winter's anger grew. "So, you have the audacity to sleep on the boss's bed?" She slapped Adelaide three times, sending her tumbling to the floor. "Please, I'm sorry," Adelaide pleaded, her voice shaking as Winter slapped her. Winter's hand connected with Adelaide's cheek, leaving a red mark. "What do you think you're doing, Winter?" Lucifer asked, his voice low and menacing as he approached them from behind. "Boss," Winter said, her voice trembling. "Why did you slap her? Who gave you permission to slap her?" Lucifer snapped, his eyes flashing with anger. Winter shook in fear. "I found her lying on your bed, and you know no one is allowed to be in this room when you're not around," Winter explained. "Get out," Lucifer yelled, his voice echoing through the room. Winter immediately ran out, leaving Lucifer and Adelaide alone. "Are you alright? Did she hurt you that much?" Lucifer asked, his voice softer as he checked her cheek. "I'm fine," Adelaide said, wincing slightly as she pulled away from him. She walked out of the room and bumped into Winter. "Come here, what do you have with the boss?" Winter asked, her voice venomous. "We don't have anything. Please let me go," Adelaide said, trying to walk away. But Winter dragged her back. "I want to warn you: stay away from the boss. He's mine, and he'll always be mine," Winter said, her eyes flashing with possessiveness. "Are you his girlfriend? Because the way he talks to you doesn't look like you're just a slave," Adelaide said, her voice steady. Winter's face turned red with anger. "Stay away from him, or you won't like me," she yelled, before turning and walking away. As Adelaide watched her go, she muttered to herself, "Why does my heart always beat fast when he's around me?" She touched her heart, feeling a strange flutter. Suddenly, someone touched her from behind, and she spun around, shocked. "What are you thinking?" Pistol asked, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Nothing," Adelaide said, smiling weakly. "I heard you're no longer a slave. I'm happy for you," Pistol said, his eyes scanning her face. He reached out and touched her cheek, his eyes narrowing as he saw the red mark. "Who did this?" he asked, his voice low and menacing. Adelaide hesitated before lying, "It was nothing. I just hit my face on the wall." "You should be careful next time," Pistol said, his voice softening as they began to walk side by side. Meanwhile, Tatiana was working with the other slaves when one of the guards approached her. "Boss ordered that you should stop working and follow me," the guard said, his voice firm. Tatiana's eyes widened as she followed the guard, wondering what Lucifer wanted with her now. Tatiana's mind was racing with confusion and fear as she followed the guard. "Why did he need me?" she wondered. The guard's harsh voice snapped her back to reality. "Don't keep him waiting." She quickened her pace, her heart pounding in her chest. As she entered the room, she saw Lucifer and Cheng sitting together. She sighed in relief, and Lucifer began to speak. "I don't have to talk too much. You're no longer working as a slave." He walked into his room, leaving Tatiana feeling a mix of emotions. "Enjoy your day," Cheng whispered to her, his eyes locking onto hers. "You did all this right," Tatiana asked, her voice barely above a whisper, as tears rolled down her cheek. Cheng nodded. "Yes, go pack your things. The maid will show you to your room." Tatiana's face lit up with joy as she rushed to pack her belongings. On her way, she ran into Adelaide, who was visibly hurt. "Hey, easy, babe. Why hurt me?" Adelaide snapped. Tatiana's face fell, but she quickly recovered. "I'm sorry. But I have good news – I'm no longer a slave!" she exclaimed, jumping up and down. Adelaide's face broke into a wide smile as she hugged Tatiana tightly. "Really? That's amazing!" Tatiana grabbed Adelaide's hand, and they walked together to Tatiana's quarters. As they passed Moonlight, who was picking something, Tatiana called out, "Hey, girl!" Moonlight turned, and Tatiana announced, "I'm no longer a slave." Moonlight's expression turned incredulous. "What? Did I just hear you clearly?" she asked, her voice rising. Tatiana nodded, still beaming. Moonlight's face contorted in anger. "It can never be! I was the first to be here, and I'm the one who should get freedom!" she yelled, storming off. Adelaide explained to Tatiana, "I think this is about the first slave who was brought here, Moonlight." Tatiana nodded understandingly. "Forget about her. She'll come around," she said, as she and Adelaide finished packing her belongings. Later that evening, Tatiana searched for Cheng, finally finding him in a hurry. "Cheng!" she called out. He turned, his expression harried. "Tatiana, can we talk some other time? I'm going somewhere," he said. Tatiana's determination shone through. "I promise I won't take your time. I need to tell you something," she said. Cheng raised an eyebrow. "What is it?" he asked. Tatiana took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. "I...I love you, and I want to be your girlfriend," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.
