"Get out?"
Logan gnashed his teeth and shook Asher’s hand off. He glared at him, frowning deeply.
"Know your place," he added.
Asher frowned. "Are you here to hurt my sister in my presence?" he retorted, his tone high-pitched. Snow stared at him nervously.
"Please, Asher, don't fight," she muttered quietly, her voice laced with worry and fear. She didn’t want her brother to get hurt.
Both Logan and Asher froze at her words. Her eyes, large and watery, brimmed with tears as she looked at them.
Logan felt his heart soften at the sight of her, and at that moment, his wolf growled inside him.
"Don't hurt her," said Lycan, his wolf.
Logan clenched his fists. He wanted to see her face for a few more seconds, but he didn’t want to make her cry because of him.
He grumbled under his breath
