Chapter 10:Lea's disappearance

Two weeks have passed and neither Triana nor Avyanna have heard from Lea. They have been to her apartment but were told she never came back. They were worried; even Leon has been to Lea’s place several times but has never seen her. Today he came to the estate early in the morning expecting to see Lea coming out, but it is one o'clock and there is no sign of Lea. Everyone was starting to worry about her disappearance.

Lea decided to visit her parents in Australia. She had missed her mother because they had an amazing bond. Avyanna decided to google Brandon, hoping she would find something to contact him, but she was shocked when she saw pictures of Brandon and Lea in Australia. Lea’s father had asked her not to go public with who she was, and no one was allowed to report about her or her company, so she never found out anything about Lea, but she managed to learn about Brandon’s workplace.

Brandon was in Australia for a week while Lea was there for two weeks. He was busy working in his office when the receptionist called to tell him he had a guest. Brandon wasn’t expecting anyone and he had been spending more time with Eleanor because they had become good friends, and she always calls when she is coming over. When he arrived downstairs, he was surprised to see Avyanna waiting. “Mr. Hamilton, I explained that you are not allowed to be here without an appointment, but she insisted on waiting until you knock off. I had to call you.” The receptionist was frightened because Avyanna, being stubborn, might get in trouble if she continued to stay for a long time. “It's okay, Rose, thank you for letting me know. When Lea said you are a piece of work, I didn't believe her, but here you are causing drama, scaring my workers.” Brandon went to hug Avyanna.

"Hi Avyanna, how have you been?" Avyanna wasn’t expecting Brandon to be working at this big company, it was known all over the country, but the President was a secret due to family confidentiality.

"Hi, Brandon, I have been good, but where is Lea? We have been worried sick about her disappearance." Brandon didn't know that Lea never told them about her traveling, but she updated him about the drama that took place. "Lea is in Australia; she should be back soon. We had traveled together, but her parents were against her staying there for a week, so she extended her stay."

Brandon and Avyanna spent the whole afternoon talking and laughing until he asked Avyanna to have dinner with him at a restaurant. Avyanna was excited to be going with Brandon. Brandon already knew about the crush Avyanna was having on him; Lea told him when they were in Australia. They went out, and after that, they went to the movies.

The movie finished around 9, and when they were leaving, Brandon bumped into Eleanor, who was with her boyfriend Daniel Smith. "Hi Brandon, I remember you. You are Avyanna, we met at the Langley Co-operation," Brandon was surprised to see Eleanor. She never mentioned her boyfriend, but he was not interested in her. Her personality was what made them become friends. “Hi Eleanor, yes, I'm Avyanna. Nice to see you. It's been a while since I came back from Australia, we haven’t met.”

They spoke for a few minutes before they bid their goodbyes. Brandon dropped Avyanna at her home, but he was surprised by the huge mansion. She never said anything but left Brandon without explaining anything. She was surprised her parents were still awake, but she didn’t have a curfew. She greeted them and went to her room, where she was met with a surprise. Diego was back from Canada. “Avy, are you dating now? You never went out until 10 pm. You have to tell me what has been happening.”

“You don’t greet me, but you accuse me of dating. Why didn't you tell me you were coming?” She was excited because her brother has been her best friend. Diego left Avyanna to freshen up while he went and waited for her at the movie room.

After spending the day with Avyanna, Brandon couldn’t sleep. He had a good time getting to know Avyanna. He decided to call her. She had finished bathing when her phone started ringing. “Hi Brandon, are you good?” She didn’t expect his call. “Hi Avyanna, I wanted to tell you, I am home safe, goodnight.” He didn't know what else to say. “Thank you for today, goodnight Brandon.” Avyanna ended the call and joined her brother after ten minutes. They spent their entire night talking and laughing.

Leon has been regretting his actions towards Lea. He has been distracted lately, hoping he can fix everything and bring back Lea to the company, but it's been weeks without being able to reach Lea.Lea told her mother everything but never mentioned that he was a Langley, not just a Langley but the son of Uncle Nathan Langley. She never wanted Leon to find out who she was, but after the last incident, she was tempted to tell him that she is not Lea Candice but the President of Exquisite Studio. She has been thinking about how to approach Leon again without her going to the company because she needed to focus on her company. At the same time, she needed to be close to Leon.
