What?” She couldn’t believe her ears. Her uncle was dead? How on earth? How did it happen? When?
I am sure those are what would be running through her mind right now but what do I do?
“Are you there?” I called out when I didn't hear any words from her.
She couldn’t say anything. She couldn’t move. Her uncle was dead? How? When?
I understood that she was shocked. I couldn’t say anything else. If she was acting this way when I just told her that her uncle was dead, how would she act when she finds out that I was the one who was responsible for her uncle’s death? I had planned on telling her that I was responsible for her uncle’s death, but since she is acting this way, then I would have to leave that part.
“How on earth did he die?” She asked when she finally got her voice.
