Layla's POV  The moon hung low in the night sky as the wheels of the car hummed along the winding road, carrying my uncle, Irene and I toward the heart of Leon's pack. The shadows cast by the dense forest seemed to dance to their own tune, an ominous prelude to the impending confrontation. As the journey unfolded, I couldn't resist the urge to prod at my uncle, who sat stoically beside me. "So, how does it feel, being Leon's trusted errand boy?"
