"She worked for Debunker Gang." That was the sentence Evan has heard multiple times in his head like those words were echoing inside his mind. His face suddenly went numb.
"W-what did you say?" he asked, almost in a whisper. He saw how Sapphire cried silently while shaking her head. He wanted to believe everything if it's Sapphire who's going to tell him the truth. He would believe her if she said she's innocent. He will never doubt her in any way. But there's something inside his head and his heart that makes him want to doubt everything. It would hurt a lot, but Evan still wanted to believe it even if it's a lie. "S-Saph?" he called her.
