Heather POV Without turning around or putting up my window, I hit Nolan’s number on the quick dial of the car. Nolan picks up on the second ring. “Hey, girl, what’s up? Where are you? I haven’t seen your car for a bit.” I let out a sigh. “Good, you’re ok.” “What’s the matter?” He asks. “There was an accident. There is a car trapped under the branches of a tree that has fallen across the road. The car is the same colour as yours. I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t you. There are workers here clearing it, but they're sending me on a detour around it.
