Chapter Fourteen Weston I drive up and down the neighborhood Viola’s thought to have traveled to. I don’t see her anywhere, and truthfully, I’m a bit too nervous to roll down my window to ask around for her. Many of the individuals standing on every other street corner appear a bit sleazy looking, and the idea of approaching them doesn’t sit well with me, although I’m running out of options. Driving around a bit more, I see a group of what I assume are prostitutes and not being guarded by a pimp. The last thing I want to do is piss off a guy toting a gun by talking to his “merchandise” with no interest or intent of making a purchase. Hell, I should’ve brought a gun with me.
