Julie stretches out on the soft queen-sized bed inside one of the small guest rooms kept by the Factory. She feels fine, she could have left by now, but she finds she’s in no hurry to return to her base.
The room is clean and modern and sparsely-furnished with just a bed, a small nightstand, a narrow desk and accompanying chair, and a bathroom with a simple shower stall. She has stayed in one of the rooms here before on five other occasions, after successful missions in the nearby mountains.
She hates to feel like she’s hiding out right now, licking her wounds, so instead she views it as a chance for further research.
Dr. Tognocci has promised to share some of the other reports that have come to her in private conversations.
