secrets within

chapter 4

I have gone through all the clothes and my closet three times, but I still don't know what to wear. I have it narrowed down to 5 outfits, and the twins are no help. They keep on arguing finally Amara and Emily came. They helped; I took my shower and put on the dress. It's 4:30. So I have another hour. I curled my hair and talked to the girls. We took pictures and played around when I looked at my phone, and it was already 5:55 I started to walk downstairs.

 I'm glad dad wasn't here, or I wouldn't be able to go. By the time I grabbed my purse and phone, the doorbell rang. I grabbed my coat and opened the door. 

"Hi  Jeremiah" 

He stared at me for a minute, and then he told me that I looked beautiful and grabbed my hand. I locked the door, and we left. Jeremiah was a perfect gentleman. He opens the door for me and pulled out my chair when we went to the restaurant. We went to a nice seafood restaurant. I ordered some crab legs and mash potatoes. At the same time, he ordered salmon and rice. We ate then we drove around and went sightseeing. We ended up at the movies we watched john wick. After the movie, we went on a walk and ended up at the park.

 Everything about today was just excellent, and I didn't want it to end. As we sat down at the park, I knew he had something on his mind. When he finally looked at me, he moved closer. 

"Alex, would you like to be my girlfriend."

 I looked at him and smiled, and then I kissed him. When we pulled apart, I said yes, and he kissed me. We made out and the park for a while, then realized how dark it was, so we started heading towards my house. When I got home, I went straight to my room and called the girls. We talked for hours until I eventually fell asleep. I woke up at around 4 to a call from Jeremiah. 

"Hey babe, what's up "nothing he told me, just wanted to talk. We talked for a long time about any and everything. I found a new nickname for him, Jem.  

 As the days went by, Jem and I got closer and closer. We still haven't told my dad, but my mom knew I'm scared to tell dad what if he hurt him. Right now, I was and English, and I was trying to focus, but Jeremiah kept messing with me.  He kept touching me and whispering and my ear, and the twins just laughed.

 They were no help finally; I just snapped and hit him. But apparently, he didn't get the hint and kept touching me, so I pushed him, and he fell, which caused everyone to laugh, and somehow  I got in trouble. I tried telling the teacher that it wasn't my fault, but she claimed I was disrespectful and sent me to the principal office. As I was walking through the hall, I saw melissa. She looked at me and walked the other way. If you're wondering what happened after the show, well, it was simple since I won she had to do what I told her for a month. So I told her to stay away from the other kids and me. I made her apologize to all the kids she bullied, and that was it. 

Her month was almost up, so I wonder if she's plotting something. When I walked into the office, the principal just looked at me. He was used to me now. I get sent here at least two times a week. Ms gray, I'm going to have to give you detention. This is the 10th time this month. You will have in school for two days you will go for 30 minutes during your free period. He didn't even let me explain, just gave me a punishment. This was just so unfair. I was walking back to class when my dumb boyfriend, Jem, Walked over towards me smiling, but he could tell I was mad, so he tried to hug me. 

"Baby, I'm sorry." 

"You better be because of you. I have detention for two days". 

He looked at me, shocked  

"But why you didn't do anything."  

"I know that I do anything, but apparently, I have been sent to the principal office too much." 

"I'm sorry, baby," he told me, and then he hugged me for the rest of my classes. I didn't pay attention just did my work and laid down. Time for detention All my friends thought it was a good idea to disrespect the teacher to keep me company. So here I was in detention with Jem, the twins Emily and Amara. The teacher didn't care, so we just talked and played games until it was over.  the rest of the week went by smoothly, and there were no problems. 

 It was finally the weekend, and Jem and I were supposed to have a date, but my dad had one problem. He came home early one day, and he caught Jeremiah and me kissing. Let's say he wasn't too happy he hasn't talked to me and over a week since our argument. We got into an argument about how he thought I was too young for a boyfriend but, I kindly explained to him that I was old enough and somehow my mom got involved, and I said some things, and let's say they were disrespectful. 

  I don't know how I can apologize. I tried everything, but nothing works. I hope he forgives me soon. I'm not too fond of this silent treatment that he's giving me.
