I had planned to stay away from the situation I listened to as soon as I got to the party. I was walking around minding my own business when I heard those familiar voices and I just couldn't help myself from stopping and eavesdropping.
Zoey and her ex-boyfriend were talking and the things I was giving attention to made me more curious to know how their relationship ended and even how it worked.
When I heard the things Zoey was talking about, I frowned. This asshole dared call her ugly and disgusting and boring? She was not, she was the most beautiful person I have ever seen. She was so beautiful I couldn't keep her face out of my head even after I gave notice to myself to stay away from her.
