We later came to a conclusion, that I was gonna follow Ruby tomorrow and now here I am getting ready for my first day on campus.
"Heyy maleficent, you ready?"
"Almost, give me a sec"
"Uugh, hurry! Just put on your rags and let's go already! If you ain't ready in the next 20 seconds, I'm ditching ya."
"Yeah thanks sis, cause that's ENOUGH time for me to finish up."
I hurried downstairs immediately I was done, only to find Ruby in her towels sitted on the couch.
Oh h*ll no! Is she really messing with me right now! "What the h*ll ruby!" I stood in front of her and glared furiously at her. "You literally gave me only 20 seconds to get dressed and here you are, sitting so comfortably in your towels?!!"
"Hey! Keep it down, can't you see I'm on a phone call?" She hissed and continued talking to her dumb*ss friend like all I said was utter nonsense.
I chuckled and ruffled my hair with my hands.
'She really wanna get on my nerves huhn? Lets see who wins.' I smirked and went back upstairs.
"Hahaha serves that b*tch a lesson! Who does she think she is. I'm h*ll not going to campus with her."
"Who was that", "Oh nothing, just that red eyed b*tch I told you about."
Meanwhile, I was in my room brainstorming on the perfect way to get her back for what she did and BINGO! An idea suddenly popped up in my head, my lips suddenly curved up a little and now, my plan begins.
I went back downstairs and still saw her sitted on the same spot, I walked past her into the kitchen. After filling up my stomach, I went to aunt's room but found it empty. "Ooh I see, that explains her sh*tty attitude. Michelle's already at work." I facepalmed myself and hurried back to the living room. I smiled and walked towards her, she saw me coming but averted her gaze back to her phone.
"Bye I'm on my way." I walked past her and went out the door. Ruby chuckled, "I wonder what she's up to. Anyways don't care. At least I get to go to campus without her by my side, saves me the trouble." She shrugged.
I was already on my way to campus and as usual, I could already feel their stares all over me. People gossiping and laughing. Well, this whole thing wasn't new to me anymore.
*****************************
I'm here. Finally.
I looked up and was totally awed by the structure of the building. "Rosewood College Of Stars." I read out the words imprinted on the building. "What a lame name." I mumbled to myself.
"I couldn't agree less," I jolted and swiftly turned around.
Woah! Is he human? Well duh definitely, but daaamn boy, you look smoking hot! I couldn't take my eyes off him. His face literally screamed perfection.
He had a Jet black messy undercut and scythe-shaped eyebrows matched with his enchanting molten-brown eyes and a strong, defined chiselled jawline.
"Seems like another beauty couldn't resist my charm uhn." He smirked and leaned towards me.
'I'm pretty sure he said something, but his smooth baritone voice rendered me incoherent.'
"Hmm... Hello? Red eyed lady?"
I snapped and before I could stop myself, my hand subconsciously grabbed his collar and pulled him closer.
"Watch your tongue handsome or you might loose it sooner than you think."
I gritted my teeth realizing what I just did and quickly released my grip on his collar, I stumbled backwards a little.
*Sigh* what did I just do. He's not the first to call me that at least HE didn't add 'witch' to it, so why did I react that way. Aargh! Just forget it, I still got Ruby to deal with. I sighed once more and walked away like nothing happened between us.
"Mmm... Feisty! Exactly how I like them, I hope we meet again.... Aurora Divelle."
I paused, 'huhn? Did I hear him call me aurora? Mn I must be mistaken.' I kept on walking until two female students suddenly approached me.
"Uhm.. Sorry to ask but.." They looked at each before one for them continued. I already knew what they were about to say, so I decided to spice things up a little. "Y-your eyes, we love the lenses and your hair, it's beautiful."
Ha! they called my hair beautiful, what a joke. "Oh, no don't get things mixed up sweethearts, these aren't lenses. And my hair's natural." I grinned watching their priceless reactions. They were totally speechless. I could already see the sudden fear in their eyes as if they just encountered the grim reaper.
"C'mon, don't give me that look, it's not like I'm gonna rip out your souls or something... Not like I can't. Haha just kidding."
"I told you she was crazy,"
"Yeah she's such a weirdo," they mumbled to each other.
"Are you talking about me?" I leaned towards them and tilted my head staring directly into her eyes. "Aahh!" They both screamed and ran for their dear lives. I tried to hold it in but I just couldn't. I laughed my heart out that my stomach started to hurt. I didn't even realize Ruby had already gotten here until I heard her usual awful voice behind me.
"Psycho! Did you really have to do that," "Do what?" I shrugged even though I knew what she mean't.
"Argh don't play dumb with me, what you did to those girls. You haven't even entered inside the classroom and you're already acting like a creep."
I ignored her words and just stared at her until something caught my attention. Haha, "Aw~ Ruby that's so cute of you to wear matching outfits with me."
"Huh? What are you-". Her eyes widened in shock the instant she realized we were actually putting on the SAME thing. I wore a black and white striped tube top with a dark green cargo pants and so did she.
"Y-you! What did you do, why are you dressed like me!" She gritted her teeth and pursed her lips.
"I should be asking you the same question. Look sis, I understand if you wanna to BE like me, sorry to disappoint you but you're no where NEAR my level, So just drop the idea, ok sweetheart?" I patted her shoulder and winked at her before leaving to my class.
'Aagh!! She did this intentionally. But how the h*ll did she know what I was gonna put on. Wait.. No no no! Now I'm dressed like that creep! Worst nightmare EVER!'
I rejoiced in my mind for finally giving her a taste of her own medicine. I was finally about to step foot into my classroom. I had to prepare for the worst. I took a deep breath before stepping in. Immediately I walked in, everywhere suddenly became quiet and I could already hear the whispers.
"Isn't it that weirdo from this morning,"
"I couldn't believe that's actually her EYES! And she didn't even try to hide it,"
"It's not like she's even pretty with them,"
"Urgh, see her hair, its hideous."
I ignored them and quietly walked to my seat.
"Hey! Red-Eyed weirdo, that seat's taken, go find another," A girl from behind said.
I still remained sitted not moving an inch.
"Didn't that b*tch hear what I just said!"
I heard the frustration in her voice and just couldn't help but smile a little. 'Seems like I'll have to deal with more Ruby on campus'
She suddenly gripped my top and was about ripping it off when I shoved her hands away. I stood up and stared directly into her eyes. She was with two other girls, they were standing behind her.
'Must be the head b*tch around here.'
The one that always think she can control everybody, but bad news, you just messed with the wrong person.
"Didn't you f*cking hear what I said... Witch!" She said, directly to my face.
I chuckled and glared back at her, "Oh I'm so sorry, but I think you missed your way." They looked at each other as they couldn't get what I was saying, "The way to h*ll's right over there." I pointed my middle finger to ground and smiled wryly.
The class suddenly went rowdy, I could hear some people laughing and some screaming.
"That girl's in trouble, I bet she doesn't know who she's messing with,"
"Yeah definitely, everyone knows not to cross path with Samantha Hayden, her dad literally owns this school!"
Oh that's interesting, so the head b*tch is the owner's daughter huhn. That explains the attitude.
Samantha was obviously furious. I could see she was trying hard not to go berserk on me.
"Do your parents even realize they're living proof that two wrongs don't make a right?" She said calmly and lifted a brow.
"Ohh!!" Some guys shouted. The class was now divided. Some where cheering Samantha while some were quietly waiting for what I'd say next.
One thing I don't joke with is when people made fun of MY parents. Yeah even though they ditched me, they're still my f*cking my parents OK?
My brows knotted and my lips curved up a little. I grabbed her hair and whispered into her ears, "Look samanda or whatever you're called, I get you don't like me, but I'd appreciate if you leave MY parents out of this!"
My eyes blazed furiously with anger but yet my body remained calm. I felt her body trembling that even I too was shocked.
'Did I scare her to that extent?' Until I realized something was actually wrong.
Samantha wasn't the only one staring at me like they've seen a ghost. I quickly reached out for my phone to check my reflection.
I gasped. What I saw shocked me to the core.
M-my eyes! T-they are glowing red!
