When Emma graduated from high school Lydia planned a picnic for her and also took a day off work to spend time with her. Lucas went with them too. Lydia had already set the food and drinks. They were having good time before someone interrupted.

It was Emma’s family. Emma's father, Norman grabbed her hand and started to drag her towards the car. Emma was shouting for help. Lydia tried to help but was pushed away. The mother slapped Emma hard across the face and pushed her in the car.

Before entering the car, Norman turned to Lydia “You are lucky I didn’t call the police on you”

Lucas saw everything and quickly slipped in the car with Emma. They reached home after a few hours. Norman grabbed Emma by her wrist and dragged her out of the car. Emma’s parents were furious.

Norman threw her on the couch as soon as they entered their house.

“How dare you run away from this house?! It costed us so much to find you. Don’t you dare ever do that again.” Norman scolded.

Emma got furious hearing this and talked back at her parents for the first time “You guys hardly ever cared about me so why do you even care about me running away!”

Seeing her talk in loud voice, his father got mad and started to hit her. Lucas was seeing all this and he got really mad and heavy wind started run inside the house, the windows started to open and shut, the light started to blink. That moment was very horrifying. Emma was staring at Lucas and her parents were really scared at that moment. Suddenly Emma screamed “STOP IT, LUCAS!”

As soon as she said that her parents looked at her surprisingly.

“What are you saying? Who are you talking to?” Norman asked, still horrified.

But Emma ignored her father and slowly started walking towards Lucas, Emma spoke in a soft voice: “Calm down Lucas. I am fine. Nothing happened. You have to stop or else you will destroy this house.”

Lucas started to calm down and the wind slowed down, lights stopped blinking and the windows stopped to open and shut. Emma's parents looked very shocked.

Alice, Emma’s mother asked “Emma what are you doing? What is going on?”

Emma still mad “First I am not doing anything. Second, if you want to know what is going on, fine! I will tell you. If you guys just had been little nicer to me none of this would have happened. You guys have always been so toxic. You guys were so blinded to make me perfect that you never cared what I wanted. You guys always chose for me!”

“We chose what was best for you!” Norman interrupted.

“Will you at least let me complete?” Emma asked, annoyed.

“We are your parents and you are blaming us for this day! And how dare you talk to us like that!”

“I think we should let her complete because what happened a minute ago could happen again” Alice said to Norman in a low voice.

“Fine. Go on” he agreed.

“When I got tired because of you deciding everything for me, I decided to run away I met a Lydia and she was kind enough to take me in. She took me to her apartment and took care of me unlike you. I met a boy there. He had died in the hospital where Lydia worked at. We both became best friends. He always kept me company.

I have been with him for a long time and he haven’t done anything like this before. He has never been this angry before. But after seeing your behavior towards me, he couldn’t control his anger anymore”

“Isn’t there a way we can make him leave?” Norman asked looking as cold as ever.

“Yeah. There is only one way”

“What is it? We are ready to do anything as long as he leaves this house”

“Fine, then take me back to Dr. Lydia let me study in London”

Norman looked at Alice and she nodded. They both didn’t want to live with a ghost so they agreed on taking her back to London but since they had met her after years so they asked her to stay there for the night and Emma agreed.

The next day, they took Emma to London and went over to Lydia’s apartment. The parents apologized to Lydia and said that they were worried about Emma and her future and forced her to get good grades and everything.

“We thought what we were doing will get het her good job and get a rich guy and her life would be settled. We were so lost in making her so perfect that we didn’t noticed that she was suffering because of it” Alice said.

After chatting for a while, they decided that Emma will complete her studies in London and her parents will send them some money every month. Then her parents left after some time.

Soon Emma joined the best collage in London. Emma had to move to a hostel and Lucas went with her.

One day they decided to go to an amusement park. And at night Emma asked Lucas that “Every ghost have to disappear once their dearest wish is completed so do you have a wish that isn’t completed?”

“Why? Do you want me to go because you are tired of me sticking around you everywhere?” Lucas asked, jokingly.

“No, you are my best friend. Why would I want you to go? I am just asking because you know I heard mostly ghosts feel lonely and want to leave because no one can see them”

“I am not lonely, I have you and I don’t want to go before you make something of yourself” Lucas assured.

“So will you tell me when you think I have made something of me?”

“Probably” he replied.

Emma worked really hard. She was really good at study and started to make some friends. Soon Emma discovered she had a natural talent of designing stylish clothes.

She wanted to start a brand. When she graduated from college, she got into her dream university. When university was completed, she started a business.

That business started to grow and became a famous brand in England. She bought a new house and moved there with Lydia and Lucas.
