They went upstairs with Scarface leading the way. They were running so the guards couldn’t catch up, but Jeanette suddenly stopped. “There are people … there are people in there!” she exclaimed, pointing at one of the cells. “Oh, come on. We don’t have time for your—” Denzel couldn’t finish his sentence as he saw the moving figures inside the cells. “What the hell?” he muttered, inching closer to one. Irene also noticed them. There were, at least, five people in each cell. Prisoners? Perhaps. The strange thing was that they didn't notice Irene and her friends' presence. They had a blank look on their face. Some of them were staring at the wall. “Who are they?” she asked, looking at Owen, but it seemed like the latter was just as clueless. He stared at the prisoners with his eyes wide.
