CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE Georgie squatted beside her rear left tyre. ‘s**t!’ She leaned her forehead against the Spider’s quarter panel and shut her eyes. After a deep sigh, she inspected the tyre and the bitumen around it, but couldn’t see an offending spike, broken glass or similar cause for the flat, although it could be stuck between the compound and tarred road.
