Chapter 23 "How do I look?" I asked Bridgit. She was going to help me get ready. After trying on all the dresses, Josh had told me the blue one looked best, so I ended up buying it. Bridgit had put my hair up and did my make up. I saw on her bed, feeling the cold motion of her brush on my skin, hoping that she was doing the right thing. "You look totally awesome!" said Bridgit. "Josh is not gonna' know what hit him-" She doubled over, clutching her stomach with both hands. Her face was scrunched up in pain. "Hey, you alright?" I asked her, leading her towards my bed to sit down. She nodded and I made her take deep breaths. "You want water? I'll get you water," I said and grabbed the bottle of water on my desk an gave it to her. "Thanks, Sandy," she muttered, taking a sip from the bot
