The four of them, Adam, Lucy, Kyle and Tish, made their way to a quiet bit of forest after waving goodbye to Maggie for the time being. Between the three pack wolves, they protected the future Luna. Kyle mindlinked wolves in their path to clear the way so as not to spook Lucy, Adam stayed close to her side, and Tish kept light-hearted conversation going. Though Lucy couldn’t hear the mindlink, as she wasn’t officially part of the pack, she recognised the strange glazed over look on Kyle’s face, just before a wolf up ahead changed course. Adam had explained the basics of wolf communication before, demonstrating the unfocused stare that was currently portrayed by the Beta. Lucy appreciated his efforts, since she was still feeling nervous about meeting the pack, and made sure to give Kyle a
