I gasped for air as I jolted awake. Panting, I looked around, checking, making sure I was safe and alone. I was trembling with fear, unable to process what just happened. Sweat trickled down my forehead as I clutched my blanket hard. This was the second dream that I had. It was the second dream that had filled me with dread right before my day had even started.
