Chloe’s POV The next morning, I kept checking my phone on the way to see if Dera would've replied to my texts, but I still hadn't gotten a response. Dera would never ignore me for no reason, that I knew. So, I was eager to find her as soon as I walked through the school gates, both to know why she'd been MIA all weekend and to excitedly tell her every single detail about my little getaway. However, I didn't find her after scouring the hallways and I still didn't see her in her designated seat during our first class. At this point, I was starting to get really worried.
