I screamed when the water touched me. It burned me badly, and tears immediately fell from my eyes.
I immediately lost my zeal to continue cooking when the water touched me, but I am not the type to waste anything, especially food. That damn water just had to pour on me. I was already almost done cooking so I put off the stove. I went to fetch the first box to apply some ointment on my burnt arm when I realized the box didn’t have ointment in it.
I would need to stop by at a pharmacy to get an ointment, but then the half cooked meals in the kitchen might get soggy before I come back, so I just decided to round it up before leaving. The heat from the fire made the affected part burn me even more but I just had to bear it.
