Eve’s POV
My phone began to ring. It was an unknown caller ID. My feet got cold immediately, and my body began to shiver. I just stared at the ringing phone on the table.
Who could this be? What does this person want from me? Tears immediately gathered in my eyes.
It kept ringing so loud, and I didn’t want to pick it up. Logan immediately makes his way back to the dining room and he notices my ringing phone.
“Who is that?” He asked when he saw that I wasn’t picking my call.
I took up my eyes to meet with his. There were watery already.
“I don’t know.” I said my voice broke. It came out more as a whisper.
