Eve’s POV
I was absent minded throughout the drive. I wouldn’t have noticed if the driver took me somewhere else.
When we got to the supermarket, I almost didn’t want to get out of the car. I could pay him to keep driving me around the whole city for the next hours till I felt better but I had to put myself together.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before coming down from the cab after paying the driver.
I was lost in deep thoughts, and I accidentally hit someone with my cart.
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to.” I said to the stranger.
He was backing me, and then he slowly turned when I realized that I made him throw his groceries on the ground and they were damaged.
“I’m so sorry.” I added. I made my way towards him and tried to help him pick up his things from the ground
