Eve’s POV
My eyes opened gently when I felt a gentle pat on my head. It was my dad. He sent me a small smile.
I didn’t move an inch and I stayed with him throughout the night after having three cups of coffee. I guess I still passed out.
“Dad, you are awake.” I said with my morning voice. He looked better than he was yesterday when I came in.
“I should call the doctor.” I added. Although he was looking better, I could tell he was still weak. I gave him a kiss on the forehead before I left.
Just as I was about to step outside of the room I bumped into the doctor.
“Good morning Mrs Eve.” Doctor Chris said as he made his way into the room.
“Good morning doctor good thing you are here I was just about to come to you.” I said excitedly.
