Eve’s POV
“All right, Mark, I'll see you tomorrow.” I said as Mark made his way out of my office.
It was just Henry and I left. We finally had the privacy we needed. Or rather the privacy I needed. Henry was also packing up his things and so was I. I didn’t know how to approach him, so I just said it out loud.
“I’m sorry about yesterday.” There was an awkward silence in the room.
Henry returns and looks at me. Our eyes locked into each other’s.
“You don’t have to be sorry, it’s your personal issue. I understand if you can’t talk about it.” Henry said, his voice calm and steady. I was glad that he didn’t try to act dumb.
