Chapter 3 Daren

James came up rushing as soon as he saw Skye. She fell unconscious at this point.
He picked her up in his arms , brought her inside shut the door and locked it. He smelled Daren’s scent on her. “ I knew it, he did this.” He laid her on the bed. He put his hands on her and began healing her. She woke up and started crying about the pain. “ You will be ok my love. I will get that jerk for doing this to you, and slap him for kissing you as well .” “He… he .. he didn’t she struggled to say.” “You need your rest, drink this.” He said as he hands her a glass of water. She drifted off to sleep after taking a few sips.
He took off her dress gently and got her pajamas on as she slept. Then he covered her up and gave her a kiss on her forehead.
He set out to find Daren. It wasn’t long before he caught his scent. His was out in the woods by his mansion. Drinking the blood from a deer. He teleported to him using super speed and grabbed him by the throat. “Skye is mine. You will stay away from her, I saw what you done to her. She was unconscious when I found her.” “A void did that. I chased it off and she was fine when I left.”
He tightened the grip on his throat. “ Then why did you kiss her?” He asked. “I wanted to show her that she doesn’t have to be with you. I can take good care of her too.” Said Daren.
James released his throat to let him talk. “You are only using her for your personal gain.” James spat at him. “ No you are, your father is going to turn her and make her indestructible. “ Your father is going to control her mind and destroy everything. James said angrily. “My father will not know about her. She is the most beautiful human I’ve ever seen.” “When your father gets a hold of her if she won’t obey he will kill her.”
“I won’t let that happen.” Said Daren “ I know you won’t, because you will never see her again.” Said James.
He used his vampiric speed to transport them back to his mansion. Skye was still sleeping. He took Daren down to a dungeon and locked him in a cage. “There you will never see her again. Don’t bother making any noise the dungeon is sound proof.” Said James
With that he left up the stairs and locked the door.
