Chapter 6 Lockdown

“How could you let him bite you?” “He saved me that day and I didn’t want him to die.” She said as she started to cry. “Well you are never going to see him again. Get out of here or you will regret it, and don’t come near her again. Remember I’m bonded to her now I can tap in any time I want and hear her thoughts and see what she is doing.” said James Maliciously.

“I’m so sorry Skye.” Said Daren as he teleported out. “I can’t believe you would betray me like this after everything I’ve done for you . I’m going to cast a spell on this house. No one will be able to come in and no one can hear us. And if you leave while I’m at work, I’ll be listening and watching you.” Said James as he grabbed her by the arm. “ Ow you are hurting me.” “ You should have thought about that.” Said James. “ But I’d be dead if it wasn’t for him.” She replied. James didn’t answer.

He brought her to her room and sat her on the bed. He started kissing her but she pulled away. “I still love you even though you hurt me.” Said James. “Well you hurt me, and now you can tap in ? Anytime you want. What kind of life will I have now?” She asked.

“Maybe I won’t tap in if you prove your loyalty to me.” Said James. “ Please don’t treat me like this.” She begged . “I have no choice you betrayed me. I’m going to bed now, goodnight.” Said James as he left the room. Skye curled up in her bed and start crying.

Soon she tired out and fell asleep. James came into her room as she was just waking up. He kissed her on her forehead. “I’m going to work, don’t do anything or you will regret it.” He left the house.

Skye got dressed and went into the kitchen. This time there wasn’t any breakfast for her

As James’s work a lady vampire sits on his desk . “How much longer do you need to date this human girl. I’m getting tired of seeing you with someone else.” She asked. For some reason Skye could hear their conversation. With a vampire bond he’s only supposed to hear her, but Skye is special.

“Just until she loves me enough then I can brainwash her and my dad can take her powers. “I messed up though and she’s angry with me. I held Daren hostage after he tried to get with her and she saved him from the basement. I got angry, and threatened her. Now she doesn’t trust me. Said James. “ You better get lovey dovey with her quick or your plan won’t work.” She said. “ Don’t worry I will.” He said.

Skye stopped listening and ran out of the house. Daren tapped in and could hear her crying and her heart racing. He teleported there and before she could say anything he grabbed her hand and put a spell on her. James won’t be able to tap in for a little bit. “Get me out of here please I want to be with you.” He teleported her to his house. “ Thank you.” She said she jumped into his arms. They kissed and the electricity danced around them. My spell won’t last for long, I need to bring you to my dad to break James’s bond. My bond with you isn’t strong enough yet but my dad can temporarily bond with anyone. Do you trust me?” He asked. “ Yes I do.” He brought her to Alfred his father. “Dad there isn’t much time, I have a spell on her so he can’t tap in but it wears off soon.”

“I will have to drink from you my dear, then the bond will be broken and he can no longer hear your thoughts. My son will also still be partially bonded to you so between us you will be well protected.” He pushed her hair back and readied his fangs. "Please be gentle with her dad, I love her." I love you too.” she replied. “I’ll be as gentle as I can.” He bit into her neck. He drank as much as he needed to. Her blood tasted so sweet to him. He sealed up her wounds.

“I don’t feel so good.” “Let me get you to bed.” Said Daren. Her legs got wobbly and she fell to the floor. Daren picked her up and carried her to his bed. “You rest now, you been through so much.” He kissed her on the cheek. “I love you.” She said she drifted off to sleep. He covered her up and left the room.
