“What made her change in heart to choose you over him?” Asked Alfred . “I don’t know, it all happened so fast. I tapped in and heard her crying so I rushed to her.” “We can tap in while she’s sleeping and find out.” said Alfred . “ I will do it.” Said Daren. He concentrated and heard what James had said. She was also having a nightmare that James was attacking her. He ran to her and grabbed her hand. He cast a spell on her and calmed her mind. She stopped having the nightmare.
“ James was using her so his father could kill her and drain her power, she was just having a nightmare about him. “Wow , poor girl . You are lucky you found her when you did.”
“ You sent me to find her dad, because of her powers. You knew James and Luscious would kill her.” It all worked out though because you two love each other.” “I saw the way you looked when you drank her blood dad. You feel something for her too.” “Don’t worry son, I will treat her like my daughter, you have my word. You know she will need to train though. She will have many enemies after her and us .” She needs to rest for now though , she’s been through so much. I wish I had got to her before she even met James.” said Daren
“I know son but she’s lucky to have you now, we will need to put extra support around the castle and hire more guards. You will need to go out and be some human food for her , be careful though. Now that she has escaped James who knows who he will hire to go after us. Trust no one.” Said Alfred.
