Chapter 15 Happy Birthday

The next morning was Skye’s 18 birthday. Alfred was busy making her breakfast with a special touch of course. Blood orange juice and pancakes with whip cream on top.

Daren began kissing Skye to wake her, she kissed him back deeply. “Happy birthday baby.” He said as he continued kissing her. They both felt so electrified. “ I love you so much.” She said as they continued kissing and holding each other. “ May I drink from you?” She asked . “ Anything for you baby.” She crept up to his neck and started kissing it. Then she bit into him. “ Mmm that feels good, are you sure you don’t want to be a vampire?” He asked. She kept drinking and running her fingers through his hair. When she finished his neck healed instantly. “ I just want to be me, and be married to you.” She said smiling. He jumped on her and bit her neck in return, tasting her sweet blood. Soon he had his fill, sealed her up, picked her up in his arms and bridle carried her to the couch.

He set her down on the couch. "Close your eyes I have a surprise for you.” He said. She closed her eyes and smiled. He brought out a big box wrapped in pink wrapping paper. He put it in her lap. “Open it.” He said. She opened her eyes and tore into her gift. She pulled out the most beautiful white sparkly wedding dress. She started crying. “ I love you so much thank you.” She said as they kissed. “ I’m glad you like it, I picked it out the day we met, because I knew you were the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.” She continued crying and hugged him tight. " I can't wait to wear this for you, I love you.” She said she hugged him tight and kissed him again. She put the dress down and they walked into the kitchen.

Alfred had her breakfast on the table. He went over and hugged her tight. “ Happy birthday my dear.” He said as he handed her a cute pink box. She excitedly unwrapped it. It was a beautiful necklace with a Pink diamond heart. “ I love it thank you so much!” She said as he kissed him on the cheek. “ Turn around I’ll put it on you. “ he said. She turned around and he put the necklace on her. Daren looked at him with jealousy but Alfred ignored him. She sat down to eat.

“ Mmm delicious as usual Alfred.” She said smiling at him.

“ We are going to go out and enjoy your day my love, then tomorrow will be the best day of my life.” Said Daren as he kissed her. “ I’ve already invited close family and we called to have food catered. “ said Alfred. “I can’t wait! “ said Skye.

She finished her breakfast and gave Alfred his dishes. “ Thank you for breakfast she said as she hugged him. “Anything for you my dear, go have fun I love you.” He said as he kissed her on her forehead. “ I love you too.”

Her and Daren left the house and went into town , hand in hand.

“ What do you want to do today baby?’ He asked her. “ Can we maybe go get some ice cream and take a walk in the park? My parents never took me out for ice cream. They were always cruel to me.” “You don’t have to worry about that with me, I will give you everything you want and more.” He said as he kissed her. She blushed and kissed him back deeply. “ You lead the way I don’t know anything about the town.” She said. So they walked to the local ice cream shop. “ Any kind you want baby and it’s yours.” “ I’ll have a large chocolate peanut butter.” Twist she said. Edwin came into the shop. Skye noticed him and gave him a big hug. “ Hi Skye and Daren.” “ Don’t forget about the wedding tomorrow it’s at 3pm.” She told him. “ I won’t forget, I hope I can train you after your honeymoon. It will be fun.” He said smiling. “ Definitely. “ replied Skye. “ I’ll have a cotton candy twist” asked Edwin. “ I’ll have a blood vanilla twist.” Said Daren. He handed five gold coins to the cashier. “ This is for Edwin’s too.” He said. “ Thank you.” Replied Edwin. They all grabbed their ice cream.

“ I got to go but I’ll see you tomorrow.” Said Edwin. Skye hugged him with one arm and said “See you.” “ Do you want to go for a walk in the park now?” asked Daren as he kissed her on the cheek.

They walked out of the town holding hands and eating their ice creams. “ We need to get ice cream more often, this is so good.” Said Skye. “ We can get it anytime you want." They soon got to the park. It was beautiful. Pink trees lined a stone path, and blue flowers along each side. The sky was a light blue. Everything was perfect. Skye finished her ice cream and kissed Daren on his lips that were covered in vanilla. “ Mmm. “ she said. Daren took the last bite of his cone and kissed her deeply.

They leaned against one of the trees and held each other tight, still kissing. Some of the pink petals from the tree started falling down into Skye’s hair. She giggled and kept kissing him. “ I’m so glad I get to call you my wife tomorrow, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.” Said Daren. “ I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.” They continued kissing for a bit, soon it was getting dark. “ Let’s get home.” Said Daren. She held onto him and the teleported into the kitchen.

“ Welcome home dear. “ said Alfred as he hugged her and kissed her forehead. “ Hi Alfred.” She replied hugging him tight. “Your dinner is already on the table with a glass of wine.” “ Here son, some wine for you. “ “ The steak is perfect.” Said Skye. “Just like you.” Replied Alfred.

“ What did you just say?” Asked Daren. “Nothing” replied Alfred. Skye drank some of her wine, while Daren drank his giving a death stare to Alfred. Alfred was oblivious to this though just looking at Skye will she ate. Soon Skye finished and Alfred and Daren finished their wine. She handed Alfred her glass and plate.

“ Did you order a chocolate wedding cake baby?” “ Yes and I ordered your favorite flowers, roses.” Said Daren. She kissed him deeply. “ Someone will be by in the morning to do your makeup and hair not that you need it though. You are perfectly beautiful just the way you are." said Daren. She smiled and kissed him again. “You two should get some rest , you got a big day tomorrow.” Skye hugged him. “Goodnight Alfred love you.” “ Goodnight my dear I love you too”. He said. Skye and Daren walked hand and hand into the bedroom and laid down on the bed together. Alfred casted a silent spell putting Daren to sleep for the night. Skye shook him a little. “ Honey you are that tired.” She said laughing. She covered him up and kissed his cheek. Alfred came in the room. “ I cast a spell on him , I need to talk to you.” He said. They walked into the living room and sat on the couch.

He took her by the hand. She laid her head on his chest. “ I need to ask you something just promise me you won’t be mad ok.” He said. “ I want to ask my son if he will allow you to marry both of us. I can’t sneak around in my own home anymore just to have a moment to hold you and kiss you.” He said as he lifted her chin up to him so he could kiss her deeply. She kissed him back. “ I love you both but I don’t want to hurt him. Can we wait till after the wedding to come clean about what’s been going on between us? And maybe in the future he might be ok about me being with both of you?” She asked trying to hold back her tears. He ran his fingers through her hair. “ I will give it time, but it’s going to kill me not being able to be affectionate to you. After you get married, you and my son will be all over each other.” He said as he started kissing her neck.

He bit into her and started drinking her sweet blood. She grabbed her wrist and bit down so she could drink him at the same time. The feeling was so good it’s like they went to space and back. They fed on each other for a few minutes then once they were content they stopped drinking and just held each other. “ I love you beyond words.” Said Alfred. “ I love you too so much.”
