Chapter 16 Wedding Day?

Skye woke up to Daren kissing her hungry. She opened her eyes and returned his kisses as they held each other tight. “ I can’t wait to be your husband. He said. " I can't wait to be your wife.” What is your last name I don’t think I ever asked you that.” “ It’s bloodgood” he replied. “ Skye BloodGood” she said Smiling.

“ My wife.” He said as he kissed her deep.

“After breakfast we must get ready in separate rooms so we are surprised when we finally see each other. My dad will be walking you down the aisle.” Said Daren as they continued kissing. “Breakfast is ready.” Yelled Alfred . They walked hand in hand giggling to each other as they at down at the table.

Bacon and eggs with a mimosa for Skye and two blood mimosas for them. Skye took a sip and it tasted stronger then usual of Alfred’s blood, like it was ⅔ blood and ⅓ alcohol and juice. “ Wow.” She said as she shivered a bit when she drank it. “ Why such a strong drink? “ She asked.

“For your nerves, this is a big day.” said Alfred. Daren drank as he watched how Skye looked at his dad while he ate. Still jealous of them. “ This is all delicious but I’m not nervous, I’m marrying the love of my life today.” She said as she kissed Daren.

He kissed her back hungrily as if to make his dad jealous. Skye broke from the kiss to quickly finish her breakfast. She handed Alfred her plate and cup. “ I must go my love and get everything ready.” He said as he pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply. “ I love you so much.” She said. “ I love you so much too.” He replied. Then he left to get dressed and help the decorators transform their huge living room into a wedding venue.

“ Let’s go into the main bathroom to get your hair and makeup done and get you dressed. I’ll get dressed after we get you ready. The hair and makeup vampire will be here soon. Don’t worry she won’t try to harm you.” Said Alfred as they walked to the bathroom. “ You must get into your dress first so you don’t mess up your hair.” He said as he shut the door. “I can leave or close my eyes if you wish.” He said. “It’s ok, you are my soulmate, I’ll just change quick so no one walks in, she said as she started taking her clothes off. She dropped them on the floor and was just in her bra and underwear. She was short and a little chubby but to Alfred she was the most beautiful girl in the world. She went to put on her dress but Alfred pulled her into a kiss. She kissed back . “ I love this but I got to get this on before someone walks in.” she said. “ I know I love you.” He replied. She kissed him one last time. “ Love you too.” She slipped the dress over her head. Alfred opened the bathroom door so they wouldn’t seem like they were hiding anything. She turned her back to him so he could zip up her dress. He zipped it up and stole a quick kiss on her neck. She blushed in the mirror and he smiled at her. She sat down on a stool and he slipped her socks and white dress shoes on. “ The hair stylist should be here soon, do you think you will be ok on your own while I go get dressed and prepare everything?” He asked.

“Yes I’ll be fine but I’ll miss you.” She said “I’ll miss you too, he said as he hugged her. He kissed her on the cheek and left the room.

She was admiring herself in the mirror when the stylist walked in. She was a tall vampire with blonde hair and blue eyes. “ You look beautiful, are you nervous?” She asked. “A little.” She replied. “Don’t worry everything will go well and I will make sure you look your best, Alfred paid me a lot of money.” She said as she giggled. “He must really love you, he talked my ear off about you. He said you make him the happiest man in the world.” She said as she started straightening Skye’s hair. Skye felt guilty hearing her talk about how Alfred loved her.

“I’m actually marrying his son Daren but I know Alfred is in love with me. Please don’t tell anyone.” Said Skye. “I won’t but you are a lucky girl, two gorgeous vamps that love you unconditionally.” She said as she styled some of Skye’s hair into a gorgeous braided ponytail. “ I know and I’ll love them both forever.” Replied Skye. She put on her necklace. “ Here are some pink diamond earrings, Daren bought them for you.” She said as put them on Skye.

“Sit down on this stool and I’ll do your makeup.” She said. “What’s your name?” She asked as she sat down. “It’s Elise.” She said as she started applying light pink eyeshadow on her eye lids. “That’s a pretty name.” said Skye. “ Thank you.” Elise replied as she started putting some pink lipstick on her. After that she added a little blush and she was done. Skye stood up and looked at herself on the mirror. “ I look so pretty , thank you.” She said as she hugged Elise. “Your welcome, I’ll go get Alfred since he will be walking you down the aisle, Daren can’t see you yet it will ruin the surprise.” Said Elise. She went and got Alfred and brought him to Skye. Then she left to see if Daren , Edwin or anyone else needed help with the wedding setup.

“You look perfect my girl, he said hugging her. “ I want you so badly to be just my girl, but I love my son and I will do what I can to behave." said Alfred. “ I would kiss you but I’d mess up your makeup” said Alfred. “It’s ok I love you, is it time?” she asked. “ Yes.” He replied. He was dressed in a black suit with a purple tie with nice leather shoes. He was stunning but she had to focus on Daren. They walked arm and arm to the living room. When they got there it was an amazing site to see. Rows of chairs wrapped in purple and pink flowers with a few dozen guests that Alfred’s family knew but they all seemed friendly. A pink diamond chandelier hung from the ceiling. Pink petals scattered all over the floor. A beautiful white flower arch for them to stand under. It was just magical. “All for you, I love you.” He whispered. “Love you too.” She whispered back. The music started playing. Daren and Edwin appeared under the flower arch. Daren and Skye locked eyes and both started crying. They were so happy. Everyone focused on Skye as her and Alfred walked down the aisle. Petals started falling from the ceiling as they walked as if a spell was cast. When they reached Daren, Alfred hugged Skye and went to stand on the side of the arch.

Skye and Daren joined hands and looked into each other’s eyes. “We are here today to join the lives of Skye and Daren. Does anyone have any objection?” asked Edwin. No one said anything. “Very good Daren you may give her your ring, and Skye you may give him your ring.” Daren slipped the pink diamond ring on her hand. Skye slipped a blue sapphire ring on him. “Daren repeat after me, I take you Skye to be my lovely wedded wife to have and to hold, in sickness and in health till death do us part.” Said Edwin. Daren looked into her eyes and repeated what Edwin said. Skye blushed and squeezed his hand. “Now Skye repeat after me, take you Daren to be my lovely wedded husband to have and to hold, in sickness and in health till death do us part.” Said Edwin. Skye repeated it looking at Daren. “ I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride. “ They embraced each other and kissed deeply as more petals fell from the ceiling. Alfred and a few others were crying.

Suddenly someone teleported next to Skye, It was Luscious. He grabbed her by the arm , erased her memory and teleported her away. Daren collapsed crying and Alfred rushed to him. “What just happened he cried, why did he do this? “ Edwin and Alfred held onto Daren. “ Try to read her mind, send her a message “ said Alfred. “ I can’t dad it’s coming up blank, you try.” Said Daren desperately. Alfred tried. “ He must have erased her memory.” He said starting to cry. “Dad get my wife back, I can’t live without her.” Said Daren.
