Luscious finished a breakfast of steak and eggs for Skye and went into the bedroom to wake her.

He knocked on the door and asked “Good morning my love, may I come in?” “Yes.” She replied. He walked in and sat on her bed. “ I don’t remember falling asleep last night and why am I still in my clothes?” She asked. “ You fell asleep out on the couch so I carried you in here. I didn't change you because I didn’t want to startle you.” He said as he looked into her eyes. He reached out and gently took her hand and held it. She didn’t pull away this time. She looked into his eyes. They got closer and he gave her a quick kiss on her lips. They both felt a shock. “ Ow what was that?” She asked. “It felt like a little shock.” She continued. “It’s because of the bond we have, you may not remember but when you feel a shock when kissing someone it means they are your soulmate". Said Luscious as he ran his fingers through her hair.

“Are you sure? I’ve never heard of that, but I can’t remember anything soo.” She said as she looked down. “I’m still so frustrated that I can’t remember, I’m sorry.” She said as she teared up again. “Don’t cry, I love you so much.” He said as he held her cheeks and wiped her tears. She kissed him this time to see if the same thing would happen. It shocked her a little more this time. He kissed her back deeply and they stole a few kisses back and forth for a minute. He could feel her heart beating faster. “I can feel your heart beating for me, he said as he pressed his hand on her chest.” “I can’t explain this feeling but when I kiss you I feel like I’m falling in love with you.” Said Skye “That makes me so happy to hear you say that. Why don’t you come eat breakfast while it’s hot so you can get dressed and showered.” He said. “Ok.” She said as they got off the bed and walked hand in hand to the kitchen.

Luscious thought to himself. There was a shock when we kissed that means no matter what happens we are soulmates. She is also soulmates with Daren and Alfred though. What am I going to do? I don’t want to lose her. I’ll admit I was interested in her powers but I’ve never had a soulmate. My ex-wife was a monster who tried to kill me so I destroyed her. I have a chance at having a woman that will truly love me. He stopped thinking and kissed Skye as they sat down at the table together. She dug into her breakfast. “This is good, thank you.”

“Anything for you my love.” He replied as he kissed her forehead. “May I ask you what are you the king of?” Said Skye. I was dreading this question he thought. She might not want anything to do with me after this. “I am the king of Vampires,” he said .

She stopped eating and got up from the table. “Why would I fall in love with vampire? Have you ever drank my blood?” Skye asked nervously. “When we met you didn’t know I was a vampire. I told you after months of dating, and you accepted me because we are soulmates. I have drank your blood but it doesn’t hurt and you actually enjoy it.” He said. It was a lie but he’s hoping she will still continue to be with him.

“ You drank my blood but I didn’t turn into a vampire and I didn’t die”? She asked. “Simply drinking won’t kill you or turn you, there is more that needs to be done, and I would never hurt you or turn you.” He said as he walked closer to her. He pulled her into her arms and kissed her deeply. She pulled back with a question. “If you are a vampire how do I know you didn’t put a spell on me to make me love you? “ She asked . “ There is no spell that causes electricity when kissing it’s a sign of true love. I promise. I will show you and help you remember how much we love each other. Just trust me please.” He said as he kissed her again. She kissed him back and sparks flew literally. “I trust you.” She said. He kissed her greedily.

“ Now go take your shower or bath so you can relax. I already laid out a cute pink shirt and shorts for you.” He said. She hugged him and went to the bathroom. Luscious thought to himself. I hope she falls in love with me. I will deal with Daren and Alfred later. For now I just want my Skye.
