Chapter 12 Save Them

I think your ready but get your strength back and then we will go. I’ll get you some soda mixed with blood.” He said. She went to the living room and sat on the couch. She had a vision again . “ Skye please hurry.” He said as he was coughing up blood.

“ Alfred we need to go he won’t last much longer.” Said Skye. “ I know I just had the vision.” He said as he laid his hands on her . He healed her quickly. Then he sealed up the castle with a spell and they left. “ You will know the way because of the bond , just following your heart I will protect you.” He said as he held onto her. They began walking through the forest. They came across what looked like a cute dog. “ Aw a doggie.” Said Skye. “That’s not a dog that’s a werewolf, it’s been cursed by Veronica. The werewolf suddenly growled and jumped on Skye. Alfred killed it with one wave of his hand . He helped Skye up. “ You must be on guard sweetie.” He said.

They continued walking, the forest was so creepy. A bunch of voids flew up to them. Skye focused and sent them flying back with a wave of her hands. “Good job." said Alfred. They continued on, and found a mansion. It was guarded by vampires. Skye and Alfred began dueling them. Alfred took down a couple of them easily but Skye was knocked over by a male vampire that towered over her. Two more males pinned Alfred down as Skye screamed in pain as she was bit on her neck. Alfred in a rage ripped the heads off the vampires that were holding him and sent the one that bit Skye flying into the wall. Skye was knocked unconscious as the vampire's venom was making her weak. Alfred bent down on her and sucked the poison out, she started waking up . “ It hurts.” She said her eyes teared up. He cut his wrist open and put it to her mouth. “ Drink it will heal you fast.” He said. He knew he shouldn't be doing this again but they needed to find Daren fast.

She stopped drinking and he healed his wrist. “That felt so good, I’m sorry for saying that but drinking from you is the best feeling.” Said Skye.

He helped her up, " I love you so much.” He said.

They kicked the door in and made there way through the mansion. Skye saw Daren in a vision. “He’s in the basement Veronica and James are there we will have to push past them.” Said Skye. “ Wait, Alfred said uneasy. Where is Luscious?” “ I don’t know let’s hope he doesn’t show up.” Said Skye.

They teleported to the basement. Daren was unconscious and chained up. “Nice of you two to finally show up . I heard you ran into my stupid ex husband. I put a curse on him so he would be nasty to everyone he meets so he would be alone the rest of his life. Said Veronica. “ Wow I owe him an apology. “ said Skye.

“ I’m so tired of you, you should have been a good little girl and let me kill you. Instead you went for this lowlife vampire.” Said James. “ You don’t deserve her, she is the most wonderful women anyone could have. Said Alfred. “ Wow so you seduced both son and father. You are a harlot. Said James. Skye waved her hand and threw him against the wall. Veronica threw a knife at her and stabbed her in the face. Skye screamed out in pain. Alfred pinned up Veronica again the wall took his sharp nails and cut her throat open and dropped her on the ground. James waved his hand at Alfred and he fell to the ground paralyzed. Skye was on the ground, her face still bleeding. Alfred watched in horror as he was paralyzed and couldn’t do anything. James bit down on her bleeding face and began drinking the life out of her. Skye screamed and started trying to kick and push him off but he wouldn’t let go.

Daren started waking up and watched in horror what was going on. Too weak to say or do anything. Alfred’s paralysis wore off and he tackled James. He was so angry he ripped James’s head off with his fangs. Veronica was somehow still alive and she grabbed James body and teleported.

Skye was dying and so was Daren. Alfred was so overwhelmed. They were both losing so much blood but Alfred wasn’t sure if he had the strength to save them both. He unchained his son first and placed his hands on him and used all his strength to heal him.

Daren was able to stand up. He hugged his dad. “ I love you so much dad.” He said as he started crying .

They went over to Skye. “ Daren do you feel up to letting her drink your blood so she can heal?” Asked Alfred. “ Yes dad I would do anything for her.” He said. He cut his wrist and put it up to her mouth and let his blood drip in her month. She started waking up slowly. She put her mouth up to Daren’s wrist and drank his blood. She soon stopped. Alfred healed his wrist and laid his hands on Skye to heal her.

Skye wrapped her arms around Daren and began kissing him. Alfred suddenly collapsed. “ I’m so weak, son can you teleport us back? “ I’ll try dad but I’m feeling weak myself. Daren tried with all his strength but couldn’t do it. Luscious suddenly appeared in the basement. “ We don’t have time to deal with you please let us be.” Said Daren. “ I fight fair so I won’t harm you. I’ll teleport you back but the next time you are up to full strength you won’t be so lucky.” He teleported them back with a wave of his hand.

They appeared in the living room and collapsed on the couch. Daren held Skye tight. “ I hope we are never apart again , I love you so much.” He said as he kissed her deep . She kissed him back with great affection. As weak as she felt she was so happy to have her soulmate back in her arms. She felt so electrified with each kiss. Alfred got up to go to his room. He was happy to have his son back but a little saddened that he could no longer spend time with Skye in private. He laid down on his bed for the night. Skye and Daren kissed some more then went into their bedroom. “ May I sleep with you tonight my princess?” He asked . “ Yes id love that.” She said. They got under the covers and held each other.

Alfred cast a spell in Skye’s mind to temporarily block Daren from reading it. “Skye are you awake? I need to tell you something, I cast a spell so Daren can’t hear us.” Said Alfred silently. “You can tell me anything I love you.” She replied. “ I’m going to miss our kisses and our intimate times even though I hate myself for it. You're my son’s girl I wish I could have just cursed myself so I would never fallen in love with you.” Said Alfred. “ Don’t say that, I would have fallen in love with you no matter what. I honestly believe you both are my soulmates. I know I will marry Daren but I’ll never stop loving you.” Said Skye. “ If he ever finds out what we did though there’s no telling what he would do.” Said Alfred. “Maybe he would accept me loving you both.”

“I wouldn’t risk it, but whatever happens I love you.” He said . “I love you too.”

He removed the block from Skye’s mind. Daren held unto her tight and kissed her neck. “ You may drink if you are thirsty.” She told him. He gently bit her neck and drank some of her blood. It tasted so good. He soon stopped and healed up her neck. They kissed once more and fell asleep holding each other.
