Marston's eyes widened, but he did as Bryton instructed. Shifting his left arm into an AR-15 and pointing it at Valkin.
Artemis and Devdan's arms shifted into guns. Bryton didn't bother to look at what kind. He didn't want to take his focus off of Marston.
Bryton could hear someone racing to the front yard and figured it must be Faruke, Greton, and Corbal. Artemis turned and fired as did Faruke and his men, each man taking cover. However, Bryton still would not take his attention off of Marston. Worried that a stray bullet could hit his mate, Bryton shouted, "Stop firing!"
Faruke and the others shouted, "Not as long as they are firing at us!"
"Tell them to back the f**k off or you will be known as the dickless wonder!" Bryton ordered.
