Jane swallowed her saliva hard, she tried to push Alpha Niklaus’s body so that he would stop hugging her until it made Jane unable to breathe. A warm puff of Alpha Niklaus’s breath hit Jane’s cheek and it managed to frighten Jane to death.
Will she be killed now?
“Help, help me!” Jane finally screamed.
Alpha Niklaus, who regained control of himself, immediately shook his head. His eyes which were originally bright red were now back to a beautiful caramel brown color. Slowly, Alpha Niklaus released Jane then he rubbed his face roughly.
What is this? What’s wrong with him?
That was what Alpha Niklaus was thinking right now.
How could he not? He had met humans hundreds or even thousands times in hundreds of years of his life. Alpha Niklaus had almost never felt an aura this strong from a human. Even if that human was a virgin or the most sacred girl.
But how can Jane seem to have a magnet to him? Jane’s aura was so fragrant and strong, her holy aura was full of light, making Alpha Niklaus always wanted to taste Jane’s body or even wanted to make Jane his mate, was that possible? Obviously impossible!
Jane was just an ordinary girl, a very weak little girl who didn’t have any abilities. Jane was born from a complete human family. So, how could Alpha Niklaus wish Jane were his Luna? Even though it was clear that there was another woman prepared by his father as the true Luna for Alpha Niklaus.
“Sorry, I saw a bug on your leg.”
“You wanted to eat me, didn’t you?” screamed Jane, terrified.
Alpha Niklaus smiled, he then turned his face away from Jane again. He didn’t want to be affected by Jane’s seductive aura.
“Do you think a little girl like you can fill me up? I am a King Alpha, I am the leader of all the Alphas in this universe. How can you accuse me of being content just by eating you? I’m sorry, you’re not pure enough, you don’t smell good, and you don’t give me enough energy to turn me on.”
Alpha Niklaus answered curtly, so that Jane immediately brushed aside all her extreme fear.
“Can I go home?” asked Jane at last.
“Almost,” Alpha Niklaus answered.
“Since earlier you said that we were almost there, but until my legs ached, we didn’t make it. You know, the soles of my feet are bleeding, I accidentally stepped on a sharp branch.”
Alpha Niklaus immediately turned his head. Seeing Jane’s flowing blood making his jaw harden. Then he crouched down, then told Jane to sit down. This little girl who was with him was really troublesome.
“Sit down, I will treat your wound.”
“You’re not going to eat me, are you?”
Alpha Niklaus looked up. Jane immediately became silent then she sat down. She stretched out her legs and invited Alpha Niklaus to examine her.
“How am I being impudent like this? Having a king hold my feet,” She spoke.
“Shut up, I’ll check your feet.”
Alpha Niklaus frowned, there was a long branch stuck in the sole of Jane’s foot, and Alpha Niklaus was sure that if the branch was removed, Jane would be in pain and even Jane would faint.
Alpha Niklaus was confused again, what should he do now? Until finally he gave a little strength to Jane to endure the pain that Jane would feel later.
And again, this was an unnatural thing. How could it not be, this was the first time Alpha Niklaus had been too gentle to humans.
What was the matter with Alpha Niklaus?
“What is your name?” asked Alpha Niklaus to break Jane’s concentration from the pain she might feel.
“My name is Jane, Jennifer Megan. But the name changed to Jane Megan just like that. Dad doesn’t like it when people know my real name, so he always makes me tell strangers that my name is Jane Megan."
“Why?”
“I don’t know.”
The branch that was on the sole of Jane’s foot had been successfully revoked, the wound on the sole of Jane’s foot miraculously healed immediately. Alpha Niklaus didn’t say that, for fear that Jane would grow afraid of him and then run away.
“Does your feet still hurt?”
“What did you do to my feet? Even when you pull out the branch, it didn’t hurt at all.”
“I am a werewolf, of course I have powers that you may not be able to possess. That’s why you were not in pain.”
“Then, what about my wound?”
Alpha Niklaus glanced at the soles of Jane’s feet which had even completely healed. “Yes, your wound is very deep, the blood is still coming out profusely. I’ll put a potion on the soles of your feet so that they’ll heal quickly.”
“So now how can I walk, sir?”
Alpha Niklaus was silent again. ‘Sir’ one word of address that was enough to make Alpha Niklaus feel strange.
“Can you carry me? Can’t I walk?”
Alpha Niklaus was still silent. It seemed that Jane was the typical girl who was easily afraid when meeting strangers because of her father’s suggestion, but when she felt close to strangers, she will immediately be very spoiled.
“Can you carry me? You are a werewolf, I believe you have very strong powers. Carrying me would mean nothing, right?”
Alpha Niklaus was still silent, until Jane spontaneously jumped and embraced Alpha Niklaus’s back perfectly, then buried her face in Alpha Niklaus’ neck.
“Jane, stop doing that thing. Do you know what you did was so dangerous to me who is a man?”
“You are a werewolf, will you lose just like that?”
“Tsk!” Alpha Niklaus chuckled, then he immediately stood up while carrying Jane boldly.
“You know, sir. Even though I’m human, from the time I was born until this moment I’ve always lived in the forest. My father strictly forbade me to live in the city like humans in general, my mother died because she was killed by your people, then my father became very angry and vengeful. So my father raised me in the forest while preparing himself for revenge. Who would have thought that I would meet a werew like you? You are a really good werewolf!”
Alpha Niklaus was speechless, he was a good werewolf? Even in his hands, countless of creatures was brutally killed by him.
“Can you tell me who you are, sir?”
“Didn’t I say that I’m the King in my pack? There’s nothing I can say other than that.”
“How many siblings do you have?”
“Father only has me as the heir to his throne.”
“How long have you lived?”
“Six hundred years.”
“Are you married?”
“For a warewolf like me, at that age it’s still relatively easy to get married. But I will do it soon.”
“Who are you going to marry?”
“My soul mate has been decided by the moon goddess.”
“Who is the moon goddess?”
Alpha Niklaus did not answer.
“Master, can you have kids?”
“Of course.”

Alpha Niklaus immediately put up a stance, indicating he was on alert. Being constantly talked to by Jane caught him completely off guard. Until he saw another Alpha standing in front of him with a sly grin.
“Long time no see, Alpha Niklaus.”
“Alpha Amias, what did you come to my pack for?!”
“I came because I want to dethrone you,” Alpha Amias answered confidently. After that, dozens of beta werewolves appeared behind Alpha Amias, as if they were ready to fight Alpha Niklaus.
