I arrived at the dorm in silence, with only the slight hum of the building to be heard as I pushed open the door. I expected Aalto to be waiting, but as our eyes locked, his anxious expression crushed me.
His face was blue as he jumped up and rushed to me. He didn't have contacts on, and the gold glow in his eyes made me feel even worse. I hated myself for making him worry.
