  Lydia's POV   Elvis's voice and temperature sobered me up in a flash, and really, his words were more effective than the number of times I hammered myself in the head.   I immediately took a big step back and stayed away from Elvis as I always do.   Not surprisingly, I saw that look of pity on his face again.   Elvis's beautiful blue eyes were clean and clear, I could even see my reflection from inside those eyes, and that handsome face showed a pitiful expression, and it hurt to look at it.
