Aliya's POV.
As my mom's car halted in front of green high, I felt my whole world thrilled as I couldn't wait to meet my friends.
"Bye mom I love you. " I jumped out of the car and was about to run away when my called.
"Young women!" I turned with a mischievous smile.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" She asked pointing at my back pack.
"OMG " I whispered feeling allitle bit embarrassed. I'm very much sure I look like an over anxious little girl to her now.
"OH!" I said "Thanks mom." I took my backpack.
"Better don't forget to listen to your teacher." my mom added before zooming off.
Greeting everyone I knew in the hall way , I headed straight to my locker, there I met Jenny already waiting for me.
"OMG bestie. " we both shouted in unison as we hugged each other really tightly.
"How was the holiday? I literally can't wait to tell you absolutely everyhing , and I've missed you."said Jenny in a very thrilled tone.
"ME too, I'm so happy to be in school, where's Emma?" The question caused her eyes to darken allitle bit, I knew something was wrong already.
"I heard some one say she isn't coming back this year. " Answered she
"What! But why?" She shook her head and shrugged at the question.
"I'm not exactly sure, but we'll find out right. " Questioned she and I nooded.
"Sure." we that we both walked to our first class.
(AT THE CANTEEN)
Jenny and I sat opposite each other enjoying our lunch break.
"You know. " I started "I still can't believe Emma is not coming back. "
Our class teacher has announced that Emma is not coming back because her parent has changed location.
"I'm going to miss her too." Jenny said "have you seen Kevin this morning?"
"I've seen everyone in class this morning. " was my reply to her question.
"No silly, I mean Kevin. "
"Why, why Kevin?" Questioned I and she shrugged.
"I don't know, I thought he is your crush. " she answered in a low voice.
"OMG, Jenny Better make sure no body heard that, and then stop thinking it cause It is not true. " I explained.
" Of course it is." she laughed "Come on Liya, it's really obvious remember the way you used to turn red when you see him? I bet you'll turn to blood this year." she turned to me.
"Jinx, you are already tuning pink at the sound of his name. " she teased causing me ro shake my head.
"You are unbelievable Jenny. " I said "by the way, what is so special about him this year?"
"Good question." she started "well as usual, He looks new this year, He has a new haircut now, a new uniform. And... Ok That's not useful better make sure you see him and class after lunch break."
" You know, I think you're the one who has a crush on him." Said I.
" Oh, don't bother, I don't. Actually there is This guy I've been chatting with on w******p, I met him on t****k. I just hope is waiting for the right time to ask me out because I really like him." she explained.
" You're like someone you haven't met?"
"Well, I guess it's normal. " was her reply.
"Normal huh?"
"OMG. The guy is coming. " she suddenly said and trust me Jenny is pro at getting me into trouble so I knew better than to look back.
"W..what guy?" I questioned.
"Kev." she answered and I heard some girls murmuring behind me, yeah they were admiring him so I couldn't help but look at him.
Our eyes met and immediately I turned my face away feeling really embarrassed. That moment he made things worse by sitting next to Jenny that is opposite me.
"Gello ladies. " he greeted smiling.
"Hi Kevin, welcome back to school. Hope you had a great holiday. " Jenny asked and that moment I started to wish I was her.
l'm Really Sure If I like Kevin, I don't think about him but something I consider embarrassing and unwanted happens to me anytime he's around.
" Thanks Jenny, Holiday was perfect. Hey Aliyah. "
I nodded at his greeting nit sure if I can trust my voice at that moment.

Aliyah and Jenny where outside green highs waiting for their ride to arrive .
"...... We Went to my Grandma's place on the last week of holiday And that was the Coolest part Because, she didn't even allow me Do anything. She only wanted me to eat and sleep and she would take me to her Old friends who also knows how to spoil someone rotten. my mum always told her that I could do some of the Things By myself, but she didn't listen Yeah I didn't want her to anyway. But you know what I think Kevin likes you too because I saw the way he was looking at you." Jenny explained.
"Jenny how is Kevin related to your holiday?" Aliyah questioned.
"Well, he's not."
"Better ."
"Oh, my driver is here.." she stepped forward "Bye bestie, I'll see you tomorrow. " she said and Aliyah kept on waves at her till she was out of sight.
Aliyah's POV
I don't think Admiring someone from How far is the problem, and I know Jenny will never tell someone about it so........ I don't know.
