Elon seemed to be satisfied with my suggestions. Slowly, his face lightened up, and that was enough to make him continue eating and not ask a single thing again. He had always been easy to please, and I liked that that hasn’t change.
“How about I just drive you two when you go to work, and fetch you on or before 4pm?” Damian suggested, which earned him a smile from Elon.
“I’d love that!”
I nodded. It didn’t sound harmful, and it was actually good that he was trying to make up and compromise for Elon, too.
Damian nodded at Elon’s response before finally looking at me. “Okay. We will leave at seven tomorrow and eat breakfast outside.”
