I shot up in bed, Graham's arms were still tightly wrapped around my waist. My sudden movement woke him up too.  "What is it priseil? Is it the bairn?"  It took me a moment longer to register that I was sitting in a wet spot, I wiggled out of his arms and checked under the blanket. The sheets were soaked, but it didn't smell, it must be... "My waters..." I trailed off, not really believing that it was time already, it had only been two weeks since I had awoken, I hope that this little boy wouldn't be premature.  "I'll go fetch the surgeon and the midwives!" he was out of the room quicker than I thought was humanly imaginable.
